What's that red mark on your Carnegie Dimetrodon's mouth, something you added?

Sorry I haven't gotten back to this thread for awhile. Yeah, Blackdanter, that dust really shows up well with the camera's flash. I really didn't notice it being that bad until I reviewed the pics I had taken. It's really next to impossible to dust them and around them. I usually wash each figure off every spring cleaning. So, I guess I should include a fall cleaning as well! Theri, I don't have many prehistoric mammals or non-dino figures. So, all that I have, end up on that shelf. Although, I know some of those Permian animals aren't really dinos. But to me, they were always more dino-like. ;D Yeah, Dan, I painted the red around the Carnegie Dimetrodon. I usually like to "touch up" figures when I get them to look more like the prototype/catalog/info tag pictures. (Note pic below.) I also usually add my own touches as well. If you look closely, there's also some red marks down the left side of those oblong markings on my Dimetrodon. Most of my figures have been "touched up" in some way or another. And thanks, Horridus for your compliment on the Invicta Diplo. I painted him a couple years ago when the new Carnegie came out in 2008 so he would have a mate. I posted some pics in the Customized section around the time I did it. They should still be there somewhere. Sorry Himmapaan, after seeing your new haul of dino figures, I guess I was partially responsible for blowing your self-restraint. Hehe! And Boki, If I had as many figures as you or some of the others, I wouldn't attempt an entire group portrait either. Wow! But, I do enjoy your separate smaller group shots. Some of the best pics on here!

WOW! Amazing collection! The pterosaurs are displayed really well. Is that a repainted TS Toys Ornithocheirus? It's amazing!! Wish my collection was as awesome as that..... ;D

Hey thanks, Battatitan! Yes, that is indeed a TS Toys Ornithocheirus. It's custom made to look more like the one in WwD. I found it on eBay. The guy who did the nice custom paint job also did a nice job on smoothing out the seams. I can't really see them at all anymore! So happy I found this guy, because I ain't holding my breath on getting one of those original WwD Orni figures.
