Who makes the best Carnotaurus figure, in you guys' opinion?
I'm trying to get at least one representative of the major theropod groups, and the abelisaurids are not making things easy.

IMHO the Battat Carnotaurus. But you've got to consider that sometimes there were irregularities during production.
And many will say Battat sucks.

The Battat and Carnegie Carnotaurs look awfully similar....

I have both and I can tell you that's not true.

I agree with Tomhet, Battat is by far the best.

The Battat Carnotaurus, probably. I have not seen one in person, mind you. The Carnegie is ok, but kooks a little cartoony to me. oddly enough, I had not seen the Battat one before repainting my Carnegie, but my paint job seems to be quite similar. Another question might be, what other good carnotaurs besides these two are there? I reiterate my opinion we Papo to do one. Although, it would probably end up looking like the one from Dinosaur...

The Kaiyodo Carnotaurus is great, although the proportions seem odd (the legs are too long)
I've always been partial to the Schleich one. Goofy-looking, I know, but I actually prefer that one over the Carnegie.
The Kinto Desktop model looks very nice but it's kind of expensive.

Yeah, the Kinto does look good, though it's a little on the big side for my taste.
I hope Kabaya does a Carnotaurus in next year's dinosaur set iteration.

Not to harp, but wouldn't Papo make this cool?

For that matter, I wish one of them would make a nice ceratosaurus sculpt too. Wow! That Ceratosaurus is awesome! Because its my second favorite dinosaur, everyone gets the privilege to hear me ramble on how much I like it. Is everyone ready?

Well, I thought so, but most pics I have found do have really long legs, and a REALLY short head. I was always unhappy with the Carnegie's head, but maybe that was what they got right?

I think maybe the reason we don't have that many good replicas of the carnotaurus is because the real creature appears to have been seriously fugly. Even when the proportions are right, it looks wrong, and that's not good for toy sale I imagine.

Of the museum-quality toy line dinos, definitely the Battat! Even though they're extinct, I see them on eBay from time to time.

Kevin- The Battat Carnotaurus is actually red and black, not green and yellow like most pics show. Therefore your model isn't that similar to the Battat.

It seems like the skeletons looks off somehow, maybe it's the head and neck being smaller than what we are used to and expect. The skull is bulldog looking, add the "flesh" and it really looks small and funny ;D It's not one of my favorite dinos, so I don't have much opinion on the figures. I do have the Battat and he seems to be the best out, IMHO
