Okay, didn't take as long as I thought. Anyway, here is the montage (you'll have to imagine the Whitesnake or Scorpions power ballad yourself) with the ones I have, and the quantity available of each. How do I do it? Database and photos of every single figure I own! I knew I spent three years doing that for a reason ;D So if anyone else is interested, I look at it this way--one or two figures, I can probably send as letter mail, so I won't worry about it. A bunch of them, we might have to talk about postage. Or if you are buying something from me, I can slip them in obviously. Sooner or later, I'll post what I am trying to sell (mostly TS Toys, WwD, a few others I think).

It's kind of risky bidding when there isn't even a pic of the item available, especially given the amount he's asking for *Thinks of selling Dippy for only 750 ;D *

Surprise! Thelordsgym won the Battat lot I bid on a few days ago boooooo! There no such thing as a dinosaur bargain on Ebay as long as long as TLG has his probes on the look out So here's a hypothetical--TLG (or one of the others that does this--A&G Collectibles, for example) buys a lot that you wanted. Then a couple weeks later, TLG offers part of it up on Ebay, the part you wanted--would you buy it? Say it's something you really wanted and the start price at least is reasonable. Or would you resist, just to try to dissuade the buy-resell behaviour, or at least be one less person to encourage him?

Or would you resist, just to try to dissuade the buy-resell behaviour, or at least be one less person to encourage him? I have already boycotted TLG out of principle. I have nothing against buying and selling per se, it's the unethical last-second sniping that I am in principle against. Sure, perhaps we are all suckers, but nonetheless, It's weaselly behaviour entirely motivated by greed. I now know to put my absolute maximum bid on any item I want. Still, the disappointment from of watching a bid for days, thinking you have a bargain, only to have it ruthlessly sniped at the last second, is rude and unnecessary. I personally could not do it, and I won't support it. grrr! phew, that was pent up! I know Thelordsgym sometimes visits this very forum, so I formally invite him (if he is not already a member?) to join up and discuss this with his fellow collectors. Perhaps he has justification? It's only fair that he has the opportunity to defend himself.
