Why do some people not understand the concept of 100% whole white mean chicken nuggets that used to be made of plastic/vyvnyl?

No plastic chicken nuggets here CT, but there are some whole plastic chickens Dinonikes, I have heard that joke Its not snowing, and our snow actually melted in the sun for the most part, but its COLD here today. I don't have to "work" today in any other way then to pack and get all the animals here ready to not have me around for a week (Except Brahm the raven, who is coming along) and make sure the person tending the animals/house knows everything that needs done...but its still work, I guess. Anyone else traveling to see family or any other reason this holiday season ?

^That sounds tasty. CCM- I have to say I am very into birds myself, haven't had many in my life though- just the usual parakeets from Woolworths as a kid. I am always thrilled when I get to sculpt birds for projects at work. Here are a few of my bird sculpts hope you like them CCM Why do we always eat birds at holidays? Does anyone else think of dinos as they munch on a turkey wing?Doesn't it look like a theropod leg?

Always good to know there is another fan of avians around They seem to be in short supply in the dino community sometimes I really like your bird sculpts. If I had the expendable cash right now I would totally pick up the Ivorybill pair. I like your GHO too. I am a taxidermist, so I have alot of bird mounts that I have done around my house (plus some mighty strange things in the spare freezer) I agree it is a little strange that bird eating is often a holiday tradition. Oh well, they taste good. I never cease to....uhm, amuse my family/friends by referring to the turkey as the "roasted dinosaur". Here are a few photos of some of the ones I mounted this year - Hooded Merganser pair. Hen Ringneck Phesant. Male Guineyfowl. Pheonix Gamecock. And here is a Pronghorn Buck. Keeping birds is a pain sometimes. They can be very messy high maintenance animals that need alot of keeping after. I love working with them, but sometimes I just need a break. Anyway, in keeping with the nature of this thread... I am an avid outdoors person, and fly the corvids, fly fish, swim, go looking for wild reptiles (known as "herping") fossil hunt, go birding, and go on whale watch trips. I take a great number of photos too, though, nothing more then "ameture" photography. For "art", I sculpt, carve (wood and soapstone), paint, and obviously draw and do taxidermy, but also make origami... Besides toys (dinosaurs, including birds, some fantasy like LOTR/Godzilla/King Kong, and some plush - like Ren and Stimpy/Alf that sort of thing) I collect fossils, Shells and sea life specimens, and skulls and skeletons too. Does anyone else have any interesting/strange hobbies outside of dinosaur/figure collecting they wish to share ?

Rubik's cubes. I solve them, collect them, customize them, everything. It's a collection second only to dinosaurs.
Anyone else?

Wow, CCM you have a lot of dead birds in your house ;D Are they all previous "pets" or....? I like the pronghorn antelope, now did you do that, too? Did you hunt him? Very cool collection. As for me, well I like to collect fossils, fish and trilobites in particular ;D I also have a small rock tumbler so I can polish agates, petrified wood, and jaspers I find while beach combing in Oregon. They have some cool looking rocks! I found a few fossils, mostly snails and wood, but some marine mammals, too. Let's see, what else do I collect? I have this strange fascination with the JLU figures ;D I collected most of them ;D See? I,too have my geeky side ;D ;D ;D ;D In addition, I also collect antelope figures. Antelopes are my favorite modern animals! I will take a picture of the collection someday. Oh, i also collect tribal artifacts, mostly Asian and African. I started with mask, but it got too expensive! I have a few items from the Philippines ( my tribe), Papua NG, and Africa. Years ago I started a stamp collection, mostly animals and dinosaurs. I gave that up now, but still get some once in a while. The same goes with coins ;D So there we go, my "other hobby"! ;D ;D ;D

Now, it's the ice that is creating such a major problem here in Seattle Here is a picture of my street [img src="http://i344.photobucket.com/albums/p323/Bokichops/S7307523.jpg" And yes, I fell a few times!

I gave that up now, but still get some once in a while. The same goes with coins ;D So there we go, my "other hobby"! ;D ;D ;D Oh, thats not even close to all the mounts around here. They are everywhere. I have a big cabinet full of skulls too, and a wall that is all big game skulls. I have done some skeletal cleaning/reconstruction, and have a whole Von der deckens hornbill (a former pet) and a peacock (a former animal at a barn I used to work at who died) in my living room. My room at my families down the shore has a whole White tailed deer doe skeleton that I reconstructed when I was still in high school. All the mounts above are ones I did. I do not hunt (besides with the corivds who only hunt things like pest birds/rodents and they get to eat those after they have been frozen for a while to kill parasites) and I used to fly a Red tail hawk, but she got to keep everything she killed) but I do fish. Sometimes I mount the fish, but I also use all the meat. The birds/mammals I mount come from many places - Some are old pets, (not many of mine, more from other people who have breeders/pet birds die - I have some Goldies lories and a princess parrot in the freezer among other things right now) some are old zoo/collection/breeding stock animals that people give me after they die, and some are actually roadkills. A few were even shot by friends who hunt, who then gave me the skins/hides to mount. (The pronghorn antelope buck above was such an animal) Many of the shells in my collection I have collected from various beaches, but some I purchase. I have even purchased some skins to mount/skulls/shells off of ebay. I have a pretty large number of mounted butterfly/insect cases too. Many of them were purchased, but some were collected. I do not kill insects to add to my collection. You would not believe how many roadkilled butterflies of various species, in mountable shape can be found around here in one late summer afternoon. I have done many mounts for out local nature/sci centers too, some rodents and things, but mostly birds. I have some tribal artifacts too, (masks mostly), some drums, rattles, and musical instruments. I play the didgeridoo, (not that well yet), so I have 2 of those, and things like rain sticks. Some of my art is in the realm of "other" - things like scrimshaw emu/ostrich eggs being one of those things. I have some dinosaur stamps/cards/comics too, but they are a relatively small part of my collection. It sounds like you have some very neat collections, and now I am really bummed that for some reason I can't ever get your images to show (maybe its because I am on linux ?) And Theri, Rubiks cubes ?! Wow. I have never met anyone who collects those before. Sounds very cool. For Dinotoyforum, I am definitely not a vegetarian, but I have some friends and some animals who are. I do not like to purchase factory farmed meat though, and go out of my way to support local/organic/free range/sustainable operations rather then agribusiness. I actually eat a fair bit of fish, many of which I catch myself. To CT - I will be visiting my family, exchanging gifts and all that, possibly dropping by the shore to see if anything cool has been washing up, flying Brahm, and hanging out with my best friend. We may catch a movie or something. New years my little sister and her fiancé are hosting a party, and I am going to be going to that. What about everone else ? Does anyone think having a house full of taxidermy/skulls is gross/creepy ? (I was called "birdman" or by a few people "fossils"as a kid...and people used to sing a variant of the "Adams Family" song about my family I guess things have not changed much....

Is that an epic fail by him?

It is hard to end posts that are in detail with questions.
And CT, to be fair, Boki ended a post on here without a question first...but, I assumed that last paragraph would work.
Maybe I assumed incorrectly ?
