The one I least like is the pteranodon But Papo dinosaurs are still my favourite, since the pteranodon is technically not a dinosaur ;D I'm not too enthusiastic about the allosaurus, perhaps because of the fact that it isn't copied from a design of the late Stan Winston, i.e. a JP dino. Though I know most people here like the allosaurus the best precisely because it isn't JP-inspired ;D

It would just be made to look right. Maybe if they gave it a completely new skull too... The one in the movie looked nothing like dilophosaurus, except that it had two crests. I bet that's the only description they gave the artists. "Hey Speilberg, this us... diloppa, dilophasuar? What's that look like?" "Meat eater with two crests on its head." "Done and done."

Like, Velociraptor is the size of a chicken--make it bigger. And that Dilo...cresty thing? It's really big, but we need it to fit into a jeep to kill someone. Make it smaller.

Don't start to talk bad about JP dinosaurs...They are still the BEST restorations of our favorite exctint animals ever to appear on the big (or small) screen IMHO The only things changed on the Dilo,by the way, were the dimensions, the snout and the frill...Everything else is flawless

But,even if all those dinosaurs and prehistoric beasts are equally beautiful and realistic,no one of them can still beat the JP "terrible lizards" in terms of pure awesomeness and badassery

Which is also why apologists can get around glaring errors.

as I said on another thread, thanks to Jurassic Park dinosaurs became popular. Besides wwd, when dinosaurs roamed america, dinoplanet, sea monster ETC were done after JP. So somehow the guys from jp are the pioneers on bringing back to life our fav animals. before jp and this is how dinosaurs were one year before jp
