Nope, they aren't soft at all. In fact, they are made of a harder material than most other manufacturers'. And here are some images to give you a better perspective of how they size up to other dinosaur replicas. They are generally on the smaller side. The long-necks are of a much smaller scale than the other Kinto dinosaurs.

Yeah, they are very similar aren't they.
So, If they are not soft, why are they called soft? How odd? I'm still after the Plesiosaurus in this collection by the way.

Heathstones.com has it. Price seems reasonable but i don't know what international shipping rates are. They also accept money orders just shoot them an email and they should send you an order form. I am getting my papo collection trough them because stores around here don't carry many dino collectables and prices on ebay are outrageous.

Thanks Wheezy, I don't think Healthstones ship internationally anymore, however, I found the plesiosaur here too www.dinosaurtime.co.uk/ although I'll have to wait till April apparently. The have none in stock at the mo. I'm have a UK address to it will probably work out better for me anyway...

healthstones website states they ship internationally and was updated just recently. you just have to email them for shipping rates. The plesiosaur is in stock too and they have the base available.

So, If they are not soft, why are they called soft? How odd? I'm still after the Plesiosaurus in this collection by the way. Toyosaurus says that the soft models are made of an " environmentally-friendly plastic. [ sounds like an oxymoron to me ;D ] They are called Soft Models due to them being detailed and realistic like a model, but are "softer" than a hard poly-resin material that a typical "model" might be made of."

Right. so the soft models are soft in the same way that Jelly (or Jello in America I think) is hard. got it ;D
