Yup--the one thing I forgot to look at was the date (Bully always stamps a date) and see how long ago these were made (does someone have their's handy?). But otherwise, yes, a very limited distribution for a very specific market. Which to me is odd--because if they were to make it available elsewhere (like the Archaeopteryx, originally made for a Belgian museum), they would sell more. The cost should be prohibitive to go through the effort of creating such a detailed figure for one gift store (although, perhaps, the German government was helping because it is a local treasure).

A little off topic, but is the bullyland chalicothere rare too?

No, it's still commonly available.

So how rare can this be compared to?
The WwD Ornithocheirus, the Battat Diplo (Which is much less rare), etc?

So how rare can this be compared to? The Battat Diplo? Or even the WwD Ornithocheirus? Look at the top of the page. Sbell answered that question already.

That's not exactly what I meant. I'm asking in terms of variety. What exactly could it be compared to as in rareness with every rare figure in mind.
Unless out of every figure its rareness is identical to the Ornithocheirus over any other figure?

A little off topic, but is the bullyland chalicothere rare too? Sort of--but not to the same extent. Like the Battat Diplo, it was widely available (online or in stores) for a fair amount of time; the Chalicothere was only recently discontinued.

Unless out of every figure its rareness is identical to the Ornithocheirus over any other figure? So you are asking, how often is Procynosuchus made? There has never been another Cynodont large-scale figure made. So in reality it is the more unusual, rarely done animal; as far as common-ness of production goes, it would be up there with the Starlux Cephalaspis & Drepanaspis, or Eusthenopteron (the only large scale agnathans, or lobe-fin fish, respectively). If it is still in production (I have a friend who says that it is no longer being made at the plant, so who knows) it will probably be discontinued eventually; I would guess that it will be even more sought after by then (again, because there are no other large cynodont figures).

I see. That makes sense. Cynodonts are few and far between, and if add the fact that this figure was only released Germany, it really does make it as rare as the Ornithocheirus.
It may very well be the rarest figure in my collection.

They're called cynodonts, not cycodonts.

According to my keyboard, the c is very far from the n ;D

It was a typo. For future reference, you don't have to complain about typos. Just edit them.
Also, c and n are only two keys apart. I think I know what a Cynodont is Tomhet.

For future reference, you don't have to complain about typos. Just edit them. You don't get to tell me what to do. And if you don't want to produce more typos, you should type more carefully instead of posting everywhere.

Please don't critique what I do. Thanks. *Ignores* Anyway, I read the review on this little Cynodont figure. It sounds nice guys. I can't wait to hold it in my hands.
