But I already made a thumbs up there. I can't give a double thumbs up Fonzie style at one single place... ;D

But I already made a thumbs up there. I can't give a double thumbs up Fonzie style at one single place... ;D I meant that you could just, you know, leave a comment along the lines of 'great review'...I'm just concerned you'll set a precedent

Oh no, I wouldn't want that. Of course it's a brilliant and also very anticipated review. I thought it was obvious in this case. And of course the .jpg is no fb feature, I did this with MS Paint...

Perhaps Niroot can let me look after his Battat Diplodocus for a while... ;D

Oh, that was fast! It's occurred to me how peculiarly this study ( shockingly lacking jaw muscle there, but I was freshly returning to drawing dinosaurs then... ¬_¬) resembles this model . At the time I hadn't even known of the Sega rex or seen it. Perhaps Niroot can let me look after his Battat Diplodocus for a while... ;D You are rather far away, that's the trouble. ;D Otherwise I would gladly consider you as custodian of something. The Diplodocus is fine where it is for the moment though. ;D

In the latest review it says that most members know what a chinasaur is. I'm afraid that I don't!

well, a lot of generic toys, and knock off toys are manufactured in China. (Real ones too, I guess), so the term Chinasaur sorta just stuck......

So basically just rubbish dinosaur toys? Thanks for the explanation!

Hm, "chinasaur" - it´s mostly a matter of feeling, and sometimes it is quite obvious... Maybe I wasn´t clear enough. "Chinasaur" means anything from complete and absurd creatures and failures in terms of basic scientific standards (for example Triceratops did not have meat - eaters´ teeth a.s.o.) that, for example occasionally show up at plasticosauria.net to "We wanted but we could not - or wait, did we really want to make correct figures?" - companys such as Simba or even, AAA. To a certain extend this definition could even include Schleich Chinasaur, however, does not mean the country where the figure was produced. Since except from Bullyland I don´t know any company that does not produce their dinosaurs in China...

'Chinasaur' tends to refer to unbranded/bargain bucket stuff, rather than 'museum lines' or recognised brands like Schleich. Chinasaurs range from pretty good (the better AAA stuff, and UKRD weren't SO bad back in the day) to truly terrible.
