Hi everybody! I found this fantastic forum few months ago and now I've decided to join as an "official" user! I love dinosaurs since I was 4 (a long long time ago) and I have a small collection of dinos from various Museum Lines (schleich, safari, battat, invicta, toyway, papo, bullyland). Nothing compared to the fantastic ones I saw here, but it's growing day after day. Thanks for creating such a forum! Ciao! Marco

Thanks everybody for the welcome! This forum is really excellent! To kikimalou: Je vous remercie pour l'accueil! (is it correct? I worked in France - Orleans - several years ago and I learned a bit of French. However now I've forgotten most of it... Except for the basic sentences... ) to sid: ciao Sid! Ho bazzicato ogni tanto il JP forum italiano, tuttavia non mi son mai iscritto. Mi fa piacere beccare un altro italiano qua! Io son veneto, tu? Ciao!

C'est trés correct. Hélas, je ne parle pas l'Italien. I will speak my rough english so everybody could understand if you agree. I never go in Italy but I hope visiting Toscana, Venezia and Napoli one day. Where do you come from ?

To Sid and Kikimalou: I write in (rough) English too, to allow everybody to understand what I'm saying. I come from Vicenza, a town near Venice (as Sid may know, I'm a "cat eater" ). I hope to come back to France for a brief vacation at the end of the summer. I would like to come back to Paris. Obviously I will visit again the Jardin Des Plantes, with the Museum Of Natural History. When I visited it for the first time (mid nineties), I fond the recently open Galerie de l'évolution really exciting. Instead, I was really disappointed from the paleontologic gallery of the museum, with spiderwebs on the poor skeletons... I hope something has changed since then. On the other hand, the museum shop had an incredible variety of dinos from all museum lines... I bought there several dinos, including the coloured invicta Baryonyx, one of my favourite pieces ever

Heh, another fan of the Invicta Bary I think, for those of us that like Baryonyx, that one is pretty much the overall favourite.

Don't worry! The people from my hometown are called "cat eaters" due to a legend. it seems that during the middle age my hometown was hit by famine and the inhabitants asked food to Venice. People from Venice gave them meat telling that was rabbit meat. But they gave cat meat... Obvioulsy this is only a legend, but in the middle age towns of Italy were in constant rivalry and Venice was a real powerful and rich republic at that time. One of the heavy weights of the mediterranean region. Ok, I will limit my visit to the shop How did you find the museum shop? Is it still interesting for dino toy fans? Hehehe, the Invicta Bary is still one of my favourites. I think it's the best figure out of the Invicta pack. As my avatar might suggest, another favourite of mine is the Battat Styracosaurus. To be sincere I have strange tastes about dinos and prehistoric animals. I like theropods, but I prefer ornitischians. I would kill for a 1:40 Lambeosaurus! (not the Invicta one) Ciao! Marco
