I guess I'll have to pass up on the toob then, I don't want to shell out $10 just for one measly sea scorpion. We should get a pool together, I only want the trilobite.

Not a bad idea, actually. Maybe I'll open a toob and sell some pieces individually. Someone remind me of this once they arrive in a few months.

Or pass up on the whole toob altogether! I'll probably end up getting at least two marine reptile toobs, so safari still gets the same amount of money there

Another Velociraptor??? It has to be better than their current one. But I'm willing to gentlemen's bet something--it will have feathers.

Hooray! I hope the velociraptor is like the JP3 one, and the plesiosaur better not have a swan neck!

Photos of the new 2010 Papos have been uploaded to the Facebook page. Sorry for the grainy quality, it's all we've got so far.

Meh. That's not what Plesiosaurus looked like The Papo Plesiosaurus figure in my mind was far better. It was amazing actually! sigh Theirs looks like a butchered version of the already awful ridiculously deep-bodied Cryptoclidus model by 'Crawly Creatures' on display in the Oxford museum. Maybe it will be better in person...

It's pretty much what I expected from Papo. A detailed Loch-Ness monster. Their stock photos are usually pretty bad, so hopefully you're right and they'll look better in person.

Their stock photos are nearly always better than the final product; the first raptor, tyrannosaurus, the spinosaurus, and the allosaurus all looked way better in the stock photo than in real life.

I disagree. The photos someone took of their Oviraptor looked much better than the stock photo, I'd say. I find this to be generally true of most companies' stock photos, but maybe that's just me.

The oviraptor's the exception, not the rule I think papo uses photoshop in their pictures actually. Many of the seams in real life are gone without a trace in the stock photos.

Is the Raptor just a repaint ? It looks it might be a bit different...or it's just my optimistic side talking..small as he is.
The Plesio I'll get one of em'...maybe I can heat and straighten the neck....and the head does look well detailed.

Papo's tiger-man looks absolutely NOTHING like the stock photos. I should post comparison pics, its laughable really. The stock photo is about a zillion times prettier. Most of their cats looked worse in real life (but still good).

The raptor looks like a repaint of the original in JP3 style, maybe with some added detailing to the mold. Looks pretty good for a repaint.
The Plesiosaur looks disappointing.
