I was contacted today by a new member trying to figure out the board , things like hosting pics, posting them, getting them to show up, posting replies, ect.... it's the 2nd time I've assisted a new member and of course I don't mind, but a FAQ written up and stickied here would be of help I'm sure. If Malcolm's figures bring in more new members at some point it would be ridiculous not to have something. Just my two cents..  |

The 'feedback and announcements' section (http://dinotoyforum.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=feetback) covers many frequently asked questions. I have updated the board title to indicate this to new members. Basics like how to reply, quote, personal message (PM) etc are featured in the proboards help page - there is a link in the menu at the top of every page. It sends you here - help.proboards.com/I found it very useful in the past. To all new members - welcome! and please feel free to post questions in the feedback, announcements and FAQ section of the forum  |

That should help DTF...thanks , I just figured the info should located here where new members come firstly..but the thread is here directing them there now so all should work eh ? ;D The last fellow who contacted me said the help page wasn't as helpful as he needed it to be in those areas... according to him it's his first time on any message board and I'm not sure the proboards section is really set up to handle that level of..newness... |

Speaking of new members, Randy just mentioned the Dinosaur Toy Blog on his article on the latest issue of Prehistoric Times. So maybe we will have more join us ;D Before we know it, we would have reached the 200 mark membership! Yay! ;D
