Dear All,
I come from Portugal and, as in many other things, Portugal is quite a sad country. [What an introduction!]. But yeah, I started collecting small models of dinosaurs since my earliest ages. Unfortunately my passion on paleontology and dinosaurs was never corresponded with others from my kinder garden friends... and that tendency kept like that till adult age, however I kept on pursuing the subject. One of my favorite things to do when I was young was to open a pack of chips and immediately check what dinosaur was in there, it was some kind of Matutano promotion... The best present people could give me in Christmas was a little model of a dinosaur. I could play for hours with them and, also, just the pleasure of HAVING them was strong enough to keep amassing a nice - to my standarts - collection. However, my interests on the model collection started to dissipate... as I couldn't find anyone to share my interests. Whatever... I am here to say that I am particularly keen to go back to my dinosaur model collection and, concomitantly, help those who want to sell their models as well. As you can see by my username I belong to dinocasts.com company. One of our primary aims is to help small producers by offering an online showcase in our website. The system is very, very simple:
1- You provide us with the information about the Mahakala omnogovae casts (pictures, species, size, price, etc.)
2- We put the information on-line. This service is absolutely free.
3- You establish the price. However, you should agree not to sell elsewhere with a lower price, so that Dinocasts.com can sell with competitive prices.
4- On sale, Dinocasts.com keeps a fee of 10% and sends you the rest.
5- When your item is sold, you send the product directly to the customer.
Hundreds of institutions and museums have been collaborating with us... which allowed us to get one of the largest online catalogues in the small world of paleontology.
Well enough of explicit advertisement. Feel free to contact me: ricardo_araujo@dinocasts.com
All the best,
Ricardo
