I had an extra Wild Safari Allosaur laying around and decided to customize it a bit because I've never been a big fan of how the figure itself is posed. After looking at it awhile, trying to figure out how to get it to stand on it's own without using the tail as support, I finally came to the decision that the easiest way would be to lift one of the legs to make it look like it was running. I then had to reposition the head so the Allosaur wasn't looking down, I did this the same way as the Battat rex I customized a few months ago. When it was finished I liked it so much I went out and bought two more WS Allos and customized them too, the paint scheme was inspired by my sister's fire bellied newt Frank. Here they are on temporary bases: I'm planning on making a base big enough for all three of them but haven't gotten around to it yet.

These WS figures are great for modifying...all you need is some heat and then bend to suit...I was thining they wouldn't hold the pose when I first started..but so far none have gone back...it's really pretty awesome... ;D

Fantastic customs *Chuckle* - no offense to the painter of the 3 Allos, but - have you seen my website? A custom is one that has been re-built. A re-paint (in my view) is not a custom, but a repaint. I notice just now that at least one is re-posed - very nice customization!!!

Customization is taking an object or idea and modifying it in some manner. He repainted the figures, as well as reposed them. That is indeed customization

I figure a custom is anything a person does to change the original...some customizers are re-painters, re-positioners, and re-sculptors....BF you would be a " heavy " customizer ..some of those pieces you have done are almost completely new pieces with an add on here and there... this would be a light customization...a little paint and re-positioning of the arms, legs, head...I did the same to my WS Allo Pack and Raptor Pack...all simple and light customization on our parts... That's my take on customizing anyway..
