So I was wondering if anyone has seen any dinosaur themed 2010 calenders? I would loove a pterosaur one but I suspect I'm setting my hopes a bit high...

That sounds awfully specific, yeah. Though I suppose you could always make one, if you had some free time.

It's a shame that there isn't any Dinosaur calendars available, they would sell...I know that the people on here would buy one! I think that there was a Walking with Dinosaurs calendar out several years ago, I saw it online, but unfortunately never got around to ordering it.

You can find a 2010 Smithsonian Institution dinosaur calandar if you look it up on Amazon.com.

I ran across one of the Smithsonian ones in a store yesterday and came pretty close to buying it. The art seemed slightly cheesy so I held off. I guess the other better question is, does any know a decent PC program for creating your own calender?

Sites like Cafe Press let you digitally upload photos to a custom calendar, which can then be purchased. Cheaper if you can do the labor on your own, though.

? Just go to any bookstore, or a calander store at a mall, and buy one. I have seen half a dozen this year alone.

I saw a Dorling Kindersley dinosaur calendar out in town yesterday, but the artwork was...a little poor.

If only Gurney, Henderson or Booth would release one...but I think a lot of artists are scared of their work getting ripped off...and calendars are such large prints.
The price, size, and variety of quality artistic images is why I buy them myself...and I usually end up framing one or two...at least I did in the past.

I have never seen "cheesy art" in Smithsonian calendars unless Sibbick is considered that. Gurney's had several Dinotopia calendars released. Henderson's art has appeared in a few but he has no interest in that after his ebay thing was folded. Greg Paul tapped into the POD calendar market if you go to the zazzle page.
