Hi there, Since I'm in need of some money for another figure, I've decided that this old-fashioned king of the Tyrannosaurids, that I bought in Australia 1998 is going to eBay. Before this happens I thought I should offer it here for sale or trade. It's made of poly resin / handpainted and stands 24 cm (9.5 inches) tall and is in perfect condition. No broken or fixed parts or any other issues. I'm very careful with the things I collect . It is made by Holland Studio Craft / England in 1998. I still have the original box in which the figure survived the voyage from Australia to Germany without any damage . The box is 31cm x 31cm x 23,5 cm (12.2 x 12.2 x 9.3 in inches). One thing: It's not really cheap. You could drop the price of course if you were willing to trade that Kaiyodo GUANLONG that I'm still desperately looking for . If you're interested, send me an e-mail and let me know about your price or trade offerings .......

What kind of price are you looking at ?
I''ve bought several Enchantica dragons in the past but oddly enough never knew they made dinosaurs at all.

I also have the Triceratops and the Velociraptor of this series (seen in my collection thread). I paid about 450 Australian Dollars for all three back in 1998, if I remember right. I can't tell how much I want for the Tyranno because I've never seen it anywhere for sale since (including eBay), so I absolutely don't know what people would pay for it. On one hand hand it seems to be very rare, on the other hand it's scientifically very inaccurate. On one hand these models were very expensive in these days because there weren't many around, on the other hand we have the Sideshow Krentz model today. I'm not sure - that's why I decided not to mention any price and let the people tell me what they were willing to pay (or trade) for it so I can get an idea of what it's really worth.

Postsaurischian, honestly, that figure should be well paid. Any serious collector that wants that should know it's worth some dollars. It's a very good quality sculpt, rare, and historical. Think that old retro figures like Kleinwelka or Miller are very, very well paid, and it's not because they look beautiful -some of them are actually very ugly- but because the rarity and the historical value.
If you have patience, I'm sure it can be sell by a good price.
In any case, maybe you could ask Franchesca here to give you an stimate price for the figure, so you will know what to ask.

It's worth may vary...I know the Enchantica pieces really vary..some are worth a few hundred others are not selling at 10.00 or so on eBay.
Look up a website called the Sorcerer's Library ..it's mainly for the Dragon but I'll bet good money the guy who owns the site can give you an honest estimate.
I like the detail..but it's not very large..I would offer 50.00 easily..but I would also need a U.S. shipping quote on it...which I'm afraid to look at..heh heh
If you want trade items, feel free to look at my thread .

This is the first sentence on the first page of The Sorcerers Library web-page: " I am not a shop, nor can I provide valuations of pieces or collections." ;D I think I won't ask the guy. I sent you an e-mail, Blade-of-the-Moon but you didn't answer. Did you get it .

Yeah I did !
You might be able to ask on the forums though...he's had some problems with people stealing info and images..prob why he says that. If you just request info about it like orig selling price it might be a start.

Thanks for the tip - I think I'll let the eBayers decide how much it's worth . Hopefully this won't be a bad surprise ;D
