Thanks to a new partnership with Universal, Telltale Games (makers of pretty decent adventure games) are to develop a Jurassic Park adventure game! Oh, and Back to the Future or something. Great news, surely? A new hope for dino-games, as most of them are terrible? Do discuss please. www.telltalegames.com/

Their games rock. Typically there's a stylized graphical look to each one, so it'll be interesting to see their take on JP.

Seems they took inspiration on that CLASH OF THE DINOSAURS documentary -rex vs trike- It looks gourgeous.

Yeah, they really have the look of the JP creatures down, especially the Tyrannosaurus. Am a bit concerned that it might turn into a Heavy Rain-esque affair though. 'Interactive movies' died in the mid-'90s for a reason...

Hm, I wanna have faith on this... The JP franchise seems so dead and rotten... This thing is the only chance for something good. At least the greatest since the new JP comic series was announced.. That's what I meant... Yeah the announce was great, but then the comics were an insult to human dignity . (Well at least they had awesome covers, but stil... )

Big trike. The game was specifically based off the 1st movie -the creators themselves explained that, they have the rights for the first movie ONLY, not novels-.
Even though the trike in the 1st movie was a dwarf among its species (probably a young lady), there surely existed some bigger adult trikes in Nublar.
I guess. ;D

I heard it that they have the rights for all the films..just not the novels. I think you are right. I was sure they had taken from JP1 only, but if they have the rights for the whole movie saga maybe they are featuring dinos from the other movies too for this game -wich for the moment doesn't seem to be the case and imo is better this way-. Though there is a unknown nocturnal dinosaur in the game, wich eyes glow in the dark. Everybody is guessing wich dino could be. My guess is compsognathus... We will see!

If this one game goes well, then they will prob have the others 2 films to do as well.

Literally can't friggin' wait for this game, and i'm really glad it won't be another boring action game where the only interaction possible between the player and the dinosaurs is to fill 'em full of lead Can you believe it? We'll see what happened on Isla Nublar AFTER the first movie, we'll explore parts of the island NOT SEEN in JP, and, man, we'll meet again with the the first Rex (oh, and it seems that, after the Raptors, she'll kick even good ol' Trike's ass)! For an avid JP fan like me it's really something i'm looking forward... He, let's just hope it will come out also for X360 ;D

Official website updated with video teaser: www.telltalegames.com/jurassicparkIt seems okay, but I laughed at the final shot where the Rex sounds like he's gurgling while roaring.

Yes, looks like a retro game....
.... wich doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad game, though.
