Hm looking at the Velociraptors in the video i couldn't help but think about Dinobot from the beast wars show. Sadly, I firstly know what you're talking about, and secondly think you have a point.

I like that it harks back to the original movie so closely That's definitely a plus point. Nostalgia, hooray! Plus the other movies were weaker for lacking the 'park' element. They became more standard 'lost world' (cough) adventure type movies.

Oh, dear, is that what the game consists of? Dinosaurs killing you in all sorts of ways and vice versa?

'We generally like to approach our dinosaurs as animals. They're very scary, but they're not monsters'Really? Riiight. That's certainly what it looks like. It would be silly to expect realism, of course; there'd be no game otherwise. ;D There should be a game in which one could play as the dinosaurs.

Very long time ago. As far as I can remember, pretty mediocre. It was a side-scrolling affair in which you could play as a Compsognathus, Velociraptor, Tyrannosaurus or, er, human. www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4svzPI6lqI

I'm no gamer (the sole game in my possession is Kung Fu Panda, which I play on the pc ;D), so you can hardly blame me. ;D So much killing though (said I, oh-so-virtuously ;D) . The human even has to kill all the Pachycephalosaurus!

Clearly, the best games featuring dinosaurs remain the Turok series, with the Half-Life-engine Gunman Chronicles coming second.
Niroot: not sure where to suggest a person just starting with games begins these days...maybe Super Mario Galaxy 2. Possibly my favourite game ever, with Doom 2 my second favourite.

I don't think I shall dignify Mr Stoneage's remark with a response. ;D Clearly, the best games featuring dinosaurs remain the Turok series, with the Half-Life-engine Gunman Chronicles coming second. Niroot: not sure where to suggest a person just starting with games begins these days...maybe Super Mario Galaxy 2. Possibly my favourite game ever, with Doom 2 my second favourite. I played several of the Super Mario games in the 90s (I forget all their names -- including the one with the introduction of Yoshi, which I loved, so I imagine I probably would like Super Mario Galaxy. I liked Super Mario Kart too (the first, non-3D version). I even played Street Fighter II before (*gasp!*). They all belonged to a cousin and I just dipped in now and then, but I never completed any of them. That's what I mean by not being a gamer in the 'proper' sense. I don't think I've time to start playing in earnest, but I wouldn't mind playing something now and again. Also, I'm not sure my ailing pc could cope and it would mean investing in one of those... thingys; whatchamacallit -- gaming platforms? I'm fond of the film Kung Fu Panda, and I like the game. It's the first 3D game (I like to use a theatrical term and call it 'in the round' ;D) I've ever played. JP Warpath looks like the game version of that travesty, Jurassic Fightclub. I think I will pass. ;D
