Yes, some sauropods had spikes at the end of its tail, for example Shunosaurus or the recently discovered Spinophorosaurus nigerensis. Spinophorosaurus will be available as as a toy very soon. It's produced by Bullyland commissened by the Museum Braunschweig. Here are some pictures: RED FLAG. You guys should have known that it was over for Bullyland after this atrocity (Spinophorosaurus) was announced! lol ;D, theres something about that thing that just disturbs me

Bully's new stuff looks like Collecta's old stuff...that's not an improvement at all. I kind of like the Dimetrodon for it's retro feel...but the sail looks too short. The Dilo...just looks horrible. Whoever approved this figure just didn't care. : OMG, it looks worst than CollectA's older stuff! What happened? The dimentro has it's charm, but there is just no excuse for that dilopho! ;D It's horrible beyond words! ;D Sad, very sad

Is there any way that all the pictures of upcoming products can be moved to the first page for easy reference?

Yes, please because I CANNOT WATCH THE BULLYLAND PICS EITHER!! And I'd love to!! Feathered Dilophosaurus? LOL, is that a joke? Right after I've been obsessed with the feathered model in that museum, now they come with that? ^^ Haven't seen the pic yet, but judging by what you guys comment, seems it's a fail... Such a pity... I'd like to have a feathered Dilo.

Well, I guess I'm in complete agreement with everyone else. A big "YEA" for Papo and two little "boos" for Bully. ;D

Hmmmm yeah, Bullyland isn't too interesting this year. The Dimetrodon is kind of cool, I like the raised pose (and has anyone else noticed that the jaw is hinged?), but the sail needs to be larger and more in proportion with the animal. Here's hoping they somehow fix that before the models ship, because then it would be quite impressive. The Dilophosaurus is definitely a pass. Articulating the legs and neck really killed the sculpt, and the feathers look very out of place.
On the other hand, I'm excited to see pics of the Papo Ankylo! I just wish that they would do another obscure dino like their Pachyrhino was.
Schleich! *SLAP*

By the way. The sculptor (Sven Kollhoff) of the Spinophorosaurus is a friend of mine. He asked me to post some of his original sculpts for Spinophorosaurus. So, here they are: This is what Bullyland made of it: The paintjob and these deep wrinkles on the back ain't his work.

M-rex: Better, but it still looks friggin' wierd. Papo: WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!! Don't even need to see pictures of the new Ankylosaurus to know it wins. Bullyland: I can't see the pics either. Feathered Dilophosaurus = EPIC MEGA ULTRA UBER FAIL, even if it is a cool sculpt, which by all of you guys' reactions, it won't be. Dimetrodon = mixed reviews so far, by the sounds of it. Schleich: No comment. No seriously, no comment. If I DID make a comment, I'd get permabanned for excessive profanity, slander (although, it IS Schleich, I think they cop enough of that on here for the mods not to care) & death threats.

Given Papo's attention to detail, I'm looking forward to whatever they make of an Ankylosaurus.
Bullyland seems to be going downhill just as fast as CollectA is going up. The Dimetrodon looks like those gaping Chinasaur monstrosities I had as a kid, and the Dilophosaurus is more like Derplophosaurus.

Mironimus: the original sculpt does indeed look miles better. God knows why Bullyland thought those big grooves were necessary; it reminds me of certain Easter eggs (I think the ones made by Nestle or Mars...can't remember now).
Also, new Bullys: continuing the tradition of giving them horrible, horrible Chinasaur teeth I see....

The original sculpt has far better and more refined details, muscle structure etc. And better feet. It's a shame, the final release looks like a horrible mutation of that, like a 5 year old recreated it outta clay.....
Shame about Bully. I like their Iguano. And, their recent stego, apato and ankylo are nice enough too. Not as refined in detail as WS or Papo, but still quite nice. How they could have dropped like this is a mystery to me....

I´ve already mentioned all that Spinophorosaurus stuff in "Libraraptor´s collection" and wrote I´d post some extra pics of the prototype. Now I don´t have to do this anymore. Yeah, Sven´s not "guilty" about the look of Bullyland´s sauropod. Bullyland´s sculptors are responsible. They did the fashioning.

Wow, I can imagine the sculptor wanted you to post these pics. I feel sorry for him! The figure is like a ghost of the original sculpt. I guess it's an awful thing that as a sculptor/artist, working with a large company, it's not always possible to maintain control in these kind of processes... (at least, I guess he wasn't really involved in the decision making concerning the final product). On the other hand, it will also be a great opportunity to work with such a company - but it's too bad if the result isn't as anticipated (which of course is also what I'm guessing).

IMO, they destroyed a beautiful piece of work. I'm really disappointed, the original sculpt is stellar

Bullyland is obviously in trouble. I've been told that they were having (even existential) problems and when I look at these two new figures announced for 2011, I'm not sure, either they are old sculpts or Bullyland is forced to cheap out on Designers these days. Also the Spinophorosaurus: What did they do to the original sculpt? Very strange!!! Because I know they have good sculptors at Bullyland - a friend of mine designed a Griffin for them (the one our 'Griffin' was asking about a few pages earlier) and I've seen the pics of the sculpted prototype - it's wonderful, believe me. Unfortunately I'm not allowed to send pics. Due to their economical problems the Griffin didn't make it in time for the toy fair in Nuernberg and it is being delayed until next season . This season Bullyland seems to have nothing to offer, but there is a bit of hope for the future. They should make up their minds and start working with the right people - I know they're there ..... even here in Germany.

How they could have dropped like this is a mystery to me.... Their Giraffa...."Brachiosaurus" isn't too bad either, in spite of the wrong-o-feet (review plug: www.dinotoyblog.com/2010/12/30/brachiosaurus-museum-line-by-bullyland/). I like the Velociraptor too, except for the head and its hideous teeth.
