David.. You are now my Jesus Christ. Also, I prefer the arms folded in, they look more bird-like. I'm a little uncomfortable with that compliment...:-) but , uh, like thanks? Arms in it is. I might need to make them tight against the body just to save the headache of Shapeways kicking it back to me. Dk

OK T.rex 1/72 is AVAILABLE NOW here www.shapeways.com/model/400966/trex_detailed_shapeways_1_stl.html?key=45f987259e35e5bfd0aa21e9eb2d0adc I do not have any test prints, so if this gets cancelled on you you'll just have to wait until I go through the gauntlet of making is printable. If you order the regular Strong and Flexible materials it most likely arrive JUST before Christmas. ALSO- Bistahieversor 1/72 is available too. I had to make a small base for it. Keep your fingers crossed these print! Merry Christmas!

These look wonderful ! Was Bistahieversor about half as long as T.rex? Wikipedia says 2/3. I don't know.

Gosh I really wish that the Rex Mundi was still available for purchase! Or really, if any of these digital models were sold as regular old, 12" sculptures....I would buy them all in a second

My order of Bistahieversor got rejected by Shapeways because the walls were too thin. Anybody else have this problem? David, has it been corrected?

Well, the status on mine says accepted (ordered in Frosted Ultra Detail). This is the first time I have ordered from shapeways, so if they cancel or reject the order, would they send me an e-mail, or would they simply change the status on their website?

They will email you, and then give you a credit for the amount that it would have cost.

Mine were not cancelled (yet). If you ordered it in White Strong and Flexible then there is a good chance of it being cancelled. Let Me know what did and did not go through, it can help me correct things. Just to let you know, I always order WSF, White Detail and Ultra Fine Detail with every model to work out any kinks. What sucks is that I still have to pay full price for those test prints.

Hi David, I ordered Black, Strong and Flexible. Should I try another material such as WSF or White/Black Detail?

Yeah, do black or white detail. Black can look nice. D

My order for both models in 'Black Detail' arrived today. If the Bistahieversor's right foot (with the base) hadn't broken off during shipping process they'd be both perfect. The T. rex is especially wondeful . Great detail, great pose and it stands perfectly! Unfortunately I'm not able to take pics at the moment.

I'm glad they printed! Still don't have mine. Happy Trex stands on his own too, that's often just best guessing at where the balance is. When you take pics show me where the Bistaheiversor broke away from the base so I can see if anything needs fixing.
Looking forward to images!

Hey, I have a Shapeways Krentz now! It may only be the very tiny T. rex, but d**nit, I have one. Now I can be in on the club. Praise be to Niroot for giving it to me. Niroot: You are now my Jesus Christ. Or...perhaps not.

I think somebody's opened their bottle of Bell's. Yeah, although I haven't had that much. Just very happy that I had a Krentz. Was also looking for an amusing way to use that bizarre quote.
