Anyone have photos of the 1/72 t.Rex? I'm still waiting for mine. DK I'll be writing a review soon (Monday I imagine), and will upload some photos then. I can upload them to this thread now if Niroot doesn't mind. (I do have an unpainted white one myself, but I'm sure you'd rather see it with a glorious paint job!) Edit: Or of course there's always this thread. Derp. dinotoyforum.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=art&action=display&thread=3041&page=7That's the 1:144 version, Marc. The 1:72 is just hot off the press, so to speak (see previous pages). It's an absolute stunner but I can't afford it yet.

Sorry. Haha. Oh boy, that's possibly even more embarassing than not getting into trouble in a car park (which didn't happen).

Both instances (one of which didn't happen, of course) are entirely understandable and very easily overlooked. ;D There, we've forgotten already. I think Helge has ordered a 1:72 rex. I can't wait to see it!

Its just that I'm trying to put together a PT ad and it would be nice to show a pic of the actual product. I've decided this Rex will be my first resin kit 1/40. I'll let you all know the progress as it happens, but I want to do it soon.

How tall and how long is the T-rex? Thinking I may get one of my own!

Looks amazing. I'm glad that it's slightly more robust than the old Antediluvian model (beautiful as that is).

Yes! That is the greatest and most accurate Tyrannosaurus rex model on the market today... ;D

For what it's worth, I ordered mine in frosted detail and it's cheaper by $7.00 than the white or black detail. Granted it doesn't look as good if you don't paint it, but it does pay for the postage. I always check the prices on frosted or white detail since sometimes it is cheaper, but there is no pattern. In the case of Angie's small Lambeos they are cheaper in white detail than in wsf! There is something wrong with the wsf pricing. They were even cheaper when I ordered mine.

Bistaheiversor is ready to go out too. Thanks for the reminder. I'm in talks with Mike Evans on making molds for the 1/40ths. Out of what I've done on Shapeways, which TWO should I do first? The 1/40 will be in kit form so the molds last longer, but the cut up masters will be done in 3D printing so the seams will be keyed and very very tight! D Excellent, enough of this teeny-tiny stuff (I did just order the your new T.rex ;D) Do what you do best sir & sculpt a properly scaled model kit. I'd be happy beyond words to see your entire SW line in 1/40. I'm also a 1/35 Armor guy & 1/40 matches up quite well.

1/40 is def getting to a better scale...i wouldn't buy anything smaller myself. 1/20 and 1/15 is even better though.. ;D

Finally, 1/40 is much better then these tiny 1/72 pieces. It is a good match for standard 1/35 military model scale.

I'll be making these new guys in 1/72 as well, but I'll need to put more detail in first. Here is a test version on 1/40 Bistahieversor- OK, that name is STILL hard to get out- in the basic white strong and flexible. Hollow, this costs around $30-$40, and too much of the detail is lost. The Detail material would make it twice as much. Looks like this one will be resin too. Yes! Now that's what I'm talking about-this will be a great kit in 1/40. I must ask, please, NO OFFENSIVE FUZZ on Bistav..bis...whatever it's called. Easily one of the dopiest names ever given to a dinosaur,LOL!
