Thanks for linking to that. It's still very impressive and atmospheric even today.

No problem! I love it ...so much better than the chopped up one they used for the documentary. I would love if he put it out on dvd..even make some new scenes to add the Anatasaurus ones he did for it..tie the whole thing in together.
Cool fact, the name Prehistoric Beast actually came from that scene in the stop motion Lost World or maybe Kong ( I'm having a brain lapse it seems ) where they kill the HUGE Stegosaurus and the guy says " Something from the dinosaur family ? Yes Jack, a prehistoric beast. "
I think it's the Lost World because they made the Stegosaurus species in Jurassic Park the Lost World the same size as an homage as well.

A real Classic, this. I reckon someone today ought to make a stop-motion film with up-to-date dinosaur models. I know we're all accustomed to what digital gloss is capable of these days, but that's entirely beside the point.

It's an art form that's dying out unfortunately..very few people prob care to learn the craft and put any real effort into it.
I would be great if Tippet did some new Dinosaur work as well.

I reckon someone today ought to make a stop-motion film with up-to-date dinosaur models. Seconded. It'd probably look better than a lot of the cheap CGI used in many dino docus.
