Oh cool! I'd love to see them swimming around the ocean again! It'd change dolphin spotting if as they jump out the water they are eaten by a giant mosasaur! ;D

Since it's just a modified monitor lizard..should easier than a dinosaur I guess.. lol ..and I'm not sure they would release them in the open ocean...I would...but I'm kinda sadistic that way.

Cloning sounds like a bit of long-shot to me (mosasaurs gave live-birth right?), but maybe we can determine the original color from scales now!
And if we can get a little genetic material off a 70 million year old mosasaur fossil, then why can't we get sufficient amounts for cloning from preserved Thylacine and Dodo remains?
