I went hunting and visited my least explored hunting ground, the TRU store. Lo and behold, I spotted those new dinosaur figures that everyone is talking about. Well, lucky for me I had $30 from a sale I made with a friend, so I had enough to buy some of those figures. As far as I know, there are two series, the deluxe and the regular. I got the deluxe T-rex, but skipped the stego. They did not have the Therii and Torosaurus. I also was able to find the entire set of the smaller figures (8 total). The smaller one comes in 3 options; a big box with 6 figures, a medium with 3, and small with 2. I got the big and small. Great figures, only thing is that they have the circle logo and it is distracting. But you can peel it off, you will just have to end up with a smooth circle, still better than the sticker IMO. Oh, the deluxe ones make sound on their own without the help of the remote. Well, here they are for your enjoyment [img src="http://i344.photobucket.com/albums/p323/Bokichops/S7306818.jpg" Happy dino hunting

They look ok... they price is a plus..maybe something to get the kids to keep em' interested in dinos... The Deluxe figures now have some style...the Stego looks like the one from the first Lost World film... the Rex looks pretty fierce..though he has huge eye ridges..lol I'd def pick up the Therzino if I found it...and prob the Toro as well...I only have the Dino Rider one so far. Deluxe Rex : www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3144092Deluxe Therzino : www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3144089It says they have life-like skin..is that meaning cheap latex or something better like the larger JP dinos ?

Life-like skin? They are made of hard plastic, so maybe what they meant was the texture?

I saw these at a TRU the other day -- the deluxe Stegosaurus and T-Rex look great, particularly the latter. The Stego's leg articulation does look like it's fairly restricted, though.

I am guessing you mean Othnielia--isn't it similar to a dryosaur? Othnielia is a primitive ornithopod (Hypsilophodont) about the size of a turkey. It is the most common small dinosaur of the late Jurassic in North America. Dryosaurus was a primitive Iguanodont that was about twice the size of Othnielia and lived at the same time and place. They are different but in some ways similar.

The large one has a button in his back that you can press to make him roar. Notice the arms on the smaller figure, it is not separate but molded with the body [img src="http://i344.photobucket.com/albums/p323/Bokichops/S7306871.jpg"

Has anyone seen the Theri yet? My guess is that it hasn't been released yet, since everyone is seeing the same 2 deluxe figs. Boki, sorry to ask for another pic, but is there any way you could shoot all of the small figs?
