Hi guys,
my name is Julien, i'm 32, I live in Strasbourg, France and joined this forum quite recently.
I've been a collector as a child, an activity i resumed quite recently (to my greatest pleasure I must say, it's quite incredible how manufacturers have improved over the past 20 years).
I have a quite large collection of STARLUX figures that were all purchased in the late 80s. Here's the complete collection.
I you want to have a look at all the figures individually (or pairs for those I own twice), have a look at the Starlux thread where I posted them all.

Also in the late 80s/early 90s, I got some of the original Carnegie figures. These were purchased in Germany because there was no shop that would sell them in my area in France.
I found it quite interesting to see that back then, it was SCHLEICH who was distributing these figures for the German market. Back then, the brach would cost 42 DM (about €21)
Here is my original Carnegie collection
I like the vintage look of some of these, like the spinosaur, or the 2 different versions of the allosaurus. The deinonychus pack is (unfortunately) damaged, with the leader of the pack having lost one of its arms
The sauropods were my favorites because of their huge size, the brach is so big (i'm wondering how big the new Carnegie version and the Papo will be, i might get the new Schleich brach as well).
I'm quite glad to have founs this forum that has a lot of active members who are very knowledgeable.
I wish you all a wonderful 2012 (for collectors, i guess it'll be, some of the upcoming 2012 figures look stunning)
Julien
