I can't find a decent Iguanodon figure My collection is severely lacking this species. For a relatively well known dinosaur, it doesn't have that many good sculpts going for it (IMO) Invicta- Kangaroo pose. Not really a big Invicta fan, TBH. Toyway- I like it- but I can't find it anywhere. Bullyland- Colour scheme is blech. WWD- OK, but the feet are....weird. Safari- I can't put my finger on it, but I'm not too keen on it. Maybe it's the flabbiness of the figure, or the dull colour scheme. I really like the Favorite Iguanodon statue, but Dinosaurtime.co.uk doesn't stock it anymore. I also like Geene model's Iguanodon, but I can't find it anymore on their website. I hope maybe Favorite or Carnegie will release a new, svelte sculpt for this dinosaur some time in the future. What do you guys think is the best Iguanodon figure?

I'm not very fussy about how realistic it looks or how dull the colour is but if i was you, i would just get the carnegie.

I'll endorse the Carnegie one too. The sculpt has stood the test of time very well.

I am not fond of the carnegie version. Too chunky, very oversized hands. I don't own the toyway one, but it looks decent. The WWD is good if you can overlook the very strange feet and static pose. My favorite iguanodon toy is by kleinwelka, but it's obviously extremely retro.
I contacted the Geene model website last week to ask about getting the iguanodons (the only models from there that I have ever seriously wanted and could afford) but I have yet to hear back. Didn't they used to carry a sauropod of some sort also?
Kaiyodo made a very good iguanodon, but its very small. I don't know how expensive it is or how easy it is to find these days.
One of my other favorite iguanodons is the decopak cake topper Aladar, from Disney's dinosaur. Being based off the movie, it does have lips and forward-facing eyes. Most likely not what you are looking for, but the body is very elegant and well-proportioned. Its a difficult toy to find, but there is a smaller key-chain version that is easier to come buy.

I think galileo had a Shunosaurus or something like that in the past. The Dinotales Iguanodon is pretty good, and is pretty easy to find and not too expensive.

The dinotales iguanodon is a really good figure. and if you just want an iguanodon just get the first one you see. it doesn't need to be perfect. I mean half the people on this forum has got the original papo tyrannosaurus and it looks like this.

In terms of aesthetics, I would say Bullyland. It probably could benefit from a commissioned repaint of sorts.
...or you could wait another 2 years and pick up Papo's version.

LOL.....at the rate Papo is going, they should have an Iguanodon out in about two years...they've knocked out most of the common "dinos". They are only missing Dimetrodon, Quetzalcoatlus, Apatosaurus, Kentrosaurus, Protoceratops, Liopleurodon* (Please don't! ) and.... Iguanodon. Granted, a resculpt or two e.g Spinosaurus, Allosaurus (?) mixed in here or there. *Liopleurodon is not really a "common" dino, but its influence in pop-culture is ubiquitous, especially after the WWD series... The real question is whether Papo will make a modern interpretation of the Iguanodon or a Crystal Palace variant....
