It was found in china. Must be a fake.
And also, I saw a guy named "Dr. Wu" in there, kind of like the Dr. Wu in jurassic park.

That Wu is a little different--I just realized I know him. He visited the T.rex Centre in September to look at our fossil crocodiles!

^ So he's never cloned velociraptors? Darn.

^ So he's never cloned velociraptors? Darn. Sadly not that I'm aware of. I think he would be more inclined toward cloning an old croc like Terminonaris or Borealosuchus anyway.

It was found in china. Must be a fake. Weird that they didn't paint any feathers on this one, and that its collagen isn't all frayed, especially since it's marine and would have a thick frayable collagen layer like all those sharks they buried. Those hoaxers/collagen layers must be really slacking off.

Very interesting. Good find! It's kinda funny seeing a "turtle" without it's shell. Kinda naked looking, lol! Glad they decided to evolve.

such a well preserved fossil, but it's kinda weird looking. Not quite sure I fully understand what's going on with it.

Doesn't feel that a belly shell could protect it from a predator's jaw. It looks more like turtle meat on dish. May be the turtle just had this kind of shells to slide around on sharp rocky shore?

My first thought was that perhaps the top part of the shell may just be obscured by the plastron we can see here. Or the top shell was cartilaginous...

You mean, after "it's fake" of course. d**n Chinese turtleologist conspiracy. ;D Seriously: If you honestly believe the Chinese dinos from the exact same location are fake, you have no reason to even pretend to think this is real just because it's a turtle. You think a poor Chinese farmer knows the difference?

The one about how he has left? Piltdown's gone too).

Calling people out on what they say when they clearly can't back it up is trolling? Sorry, if so. Come on Thag. There's no need for that. Besides, the people you would be trolling after pretty much all left (did you not see Tomhet's thread? The one about how he has left? Piltdown's gone too). Sorry, didn't see they left. Really have only been reading this board and Dino Toys.

Really have only been reading this board and Dino Toys. I was referring to bringing up the fraud thing again needlessly. Suffice to say, the people most likely to respond are gone, as you are now aware. And trolling is defined as a post designed to anger, annoy, or otherwise engage other members of a forum or boards in such a way that will incite argument and dissent. So yes, I would call that previous post a pretty classic troll, since nobody said anything about fakes before that (and we all know where that would have normally lead).
