^ Why not? I hope not, as Quetz is my favorite pterosaur.

The wingspan the article lists is smaller than Quetzalcoatlus's.
I'm not up on my pterosaur systematics -- is this an azdharcid or a different lineage?

^ Why not? I hope not, as Quetz is my favorite pterosaur. So why does it have to be the biggest to be your favourite? Is something as ephemeral as body length, mass, or wingspan you main criteria for favourite status? Just giving you a hard time. And I don't think this new one is larger than Quetzalcoatlus. But it is a type of azdharchid.

i just watched an episode on the national geographic channel called sky monsters. The episode was mainly on the way a pterosaur flew. Also on the episode there was a trackway of a pterosaur found in Mexico and they calculated the size of the animals wingspan at around 59 ft. if i remember correctly the footprints are much older then Quetzalcoatlus however there where no skeletal remains found at the site but it does suggest of a pterosaur much bigger than Quetz.

Tyrannosaurus has larger rivals, and he's still my favorite dinosaur, right? Again sorry.
