Jurassic Park Logo Sign 3-D Pics!

To start off this sign is simply amazing in person! It is made of colored plexi glass. It measures about 16 inches long by 13 inches tall. I bought this off an ebay member whose company is called 3-D Things as a custom sign. The sign cost about $120.00 (price includes shipping). It will look awesome as a backdrop to any Jurassic Park toys or ect. To contact him to buy a sign his email address is listed below. Just copy an image into your email so he knows what Jurassic Park sign you want, he makes other versions, but not as nice as this one! ;D

I thought about getting one of these...I'm making a JP Gate as a door frame leading out to the side yard. How does it mount up ? Do you think you could put a light fixture behind it ?

Actually I dont make them. John from 3D Thing makes them his email is listed in my post. It hangs by plastic saw tooth hanger. Maybe he could put a light fixture behind it. I am not sure

Sorry..I know you don't make em' just menat to ask if , since you have one, how it mounted on the wall and if the material was clear enough to see a bulb through..if it could be made to " light up "...a mod I could do myself if it was possible... ;D

The material is very opaque. I have another sign he made for me a Sinclair Gasoline sign. Some colors are better than others. Like white, black, red, green, and gray are very opaque. If you were to put a bulb behind it im sure you would not be able to tell that there is a bulb behind it. Maybe just a slight glow. If you ever do make a gate enternce I bet I will look awesome!

Thanks for the info.. I just might try to do something myself.. I'm thinking of foam carving ..maybe a rex skull pattern for the top of the gate and I have a small above ground concrete pond I could do a dinosaur fossil pattern like on the structures i nthe film as well.

I have the plywood ready to carve right now.. it's just raining and I'm figuring up details while I wait it out..been 3 days now..lol

I really want to Josh's Compies around the pond area as well...I'm also hoping to plant some cold hardy ferns to add to the look...

I'll try to borrow a camera get some shots when finished..I have to wait til Spring officially hits to plant anything anyway...though you wouldn't know it wasn't the way things are sprouting out there...lol

Been emailing him back and forth .. orig I just wanted the logo kind of like the circle with the Rex image in it that's on your sig JPRex....but I think I might just get what you have except switch the red and yellow colors around .

How did he do the pricing on yours ? Size....layers of material used ? It also look like comparing yours and the ones on eBay , you had the lines cut into the letters as well ?

I also asked him about making the dino id signs or paddock signs later on...those would look really nice I bet.

As I recall him telling me if it is under 20 inches the price will be anywhere from 100 to 150 dollars give or take. Anything over 20 inches will be over 150 dollars. Also yes I did have lines cut into the letters! Your idea about the dino id signs or paddock signs sound awesome! I might conside getting one made in the future!
