Yeah, great scenes, Blade!
BTW, is that a real lizard on the rock in the second pic? Looks real!
Thanks for sharing!

I blame Ricardo Delgado and his Age of Reptiles series for the paint jobs..he always took a dinosaur pack, like Rexs or Deinonychs and just changed somehting like a little striping or head color and made it a diff character... If I had the money and space there's no end to how diff ways I could paint these guys.. heh The lizard is not real..but he def looks it doesn't he..hehe..we actually have that species native here the Eastern Blue-Tailed Skink...they make great pets too if you catch em'.. It's harder to tell but each of the raptors have been tweaked a bit as well..I closed the mouth, twisted the the neck and heads, bent arms and claws and a little bit of turning on the tails. Maybe I can take em' outside this summer and get another couple pics...I could switch the Stego with the new Diplo then... ;D Your welcome guys !

Does anyone else notice the gigantic arms (perhaps from a Deinocheirus-like monster?) in the foliage in the third photo?

Sorry to disappoint..it'd just the arms from my 1/1 juvenile Raptor perched on the log...there is a full pic of him in the Photobucket gallery...if you can't see it let me know and I'll post it up..

Wow, Blade! I took a look at these again and there really is alot of detail to those scenes! Good imagination on the Allos' paint jobs. Too bad my favorite one got knocked down by the Stego, lol! Although, I really like the wine striped one w/ white outlines standing to it's right in the shot. And, the subtle tweaks on the raptor pack are cool! Great animated scene! I also see now that there is a T.rex Chinosaur waiting in the background to take over when the Raptors have finished the kill! Although, when he shows up, the Raptors just may fall over and laugh themselves to death, lol! ;D

My inspiration for the Allo's paint schemes was the one beast in Dinosaur Valley Girls..I loved the paint job Tom Dickens gave his....but if I chose, I could re-paint the little suckers all day..I might get another couple and go for a reddish brown base coat..lol The Raptors are tweaked as you noticed..I just can't decide what to paint em..maybe a darker brown like the female Raptors in JP and the tiger striped males from TLW. That Imperial Rex was the star in most of my early saurian fantasies....lol he has been through a lot..even lost him in the backyard for two years and after a good cleaning he was back in fighting form.. ;D

Wow!!! Fantastic!! Tres cool! I love it!! I especially like the large perched Pteranodon and the yellow flying one (no real surprise there... ;D ) Is this your backyard? If so, is it always set-up like this? My wife would have some reservations about me doing something like this (cue the "kids need space to play not dodge your pterosaurs" potential comment ) Then again, I bet she would let me if I did an hommage to "scrap-booking and crafting" instead so the kids could dodge large scissors and bottles of glue, etc

Holy Mackerel! When people enter your yard can you resist the urge to pronounce, in a Scotish accent, "Welcome! ....to Jurassic Park!"? You should have an audio system in place playing Williams' JP score on loop.

Sounds about right dean..lol this is the lower side yard that connects to the basement where most of my collection is kept...I do have to watch just how far I expand out or I'm sure the complaints would just roll in.. ;D Hey DTF, you can find me some days looking like a JP employee working around it that's for sure... no Hammond acting yet though... I still need a cane replica first.. ;D And the sounds..lets just say I am working on it... Brachioingen , a great member at JPL sent me full sets of the sfx so I'm going to have that ambiant brachios singing, chirping Compies ect in the background and yes..I def hope to have the Welcome to Jurassic Park theme spliced in there so every one in awhile you get the full treatment... ;D ;D
