... And then you can recommend bad resturaunts to the tourists, and they won't even know you are messing with them! ;D Hey meso, I think a good place to shoot some non-contest dioramas would be those huge rocks in central park that were carved by glaciers. I don't know if you can just walk on them though, but they would make for sweet dioramas...

You guys totally crack me up sometimes! ;D Hey, I'll be somewhere near the Natural History Museum. I can just say I'm working on a projest for them! In the end, I really don't think I will have any trouble. Heck, there are shoots of all kinds going on somewhere at sometime in the Big Apple. Most New Yorkers don't pay much attention to these kinds of things. They'll usually just walk on by and not even realize something was going on. They just have too much on their minds! It's the "visitors" that will stop and start asking all the questions. Its beautiful in there. Don't you love climbing those big rocks in the park? ;D

Central Park is amazing! So many different kinds of geological landscapes all in one place and right in the middle of the biggest city in the US. Amazing!!

Yeah, that's basically what I meant -- population, buildings and such. But, you also have to remember that NYC is much more than just Manhattan. You also have the other 4 boroughs - Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens and Staten Island. All of which are larger land masses than Manhattan! I also lived in LA. And yes, it's very spread out! Traveling by car out there was always judged by time instead of distance. Ex: "How far are you from Disney Land? -- About 3 hours." They never described it in miles! LOL!!

When I'm at LA driving 27 miles means roughly 3 hours. 3 miles means 20 minutes! In Texas, 3 miles equals a few minutes (As fast as the speed limit is! lol) ;D Traffic can only be found in one of the 4 large cities. No where else - and I mean..no where. And even there, there is usually no traffic.

NYC traffic is even worse. You get a mile in about 35 mins. It is really more fast and economical to walk. That is why there are virtually no fat people in NYC (Aside from the tourists, of course...).

Once you go to LA you can make that assumption safely if you do not die from your buttocks losing blood due to sitting for far too long. Trust me Cordy, it is horrid on that highway. We went to eat at a resteraunt only 8 miles from us, and having to use the highway, we got back 9 hours later. I've been to NYC, and it was actually fairly quick with the crazy cab drivers. ;D Plus Cash Cab shows its quick. (The highways were especially quick, which was surprising. The taxi driver was driving normally then for once) We preferred walking though.

Hey, hey you're right when its compared to that traffic, but I loved NYC. Ugh....why must I be reminded of it? All I have is grass, dirt, pebbly driveway, and concrete.

I ruined one my Dinosaurs tails in the process of making one. It tore the paint right of its expensive tail. I probably won't use it, but it would make for the best diorama. Dirt may be the only option here.

I don't mean a dinosaur tail literally-- I mean a kaiyodo dinotale chocolasaur. What? Oh, haha. you thought I meant Kaiyodo Dinotales! ;D No, I meant I was using two expensive figures and the paint came off of their tails. As well as their feet. It sickens me to see paint become rubbed raw.
