Nice, love the color of this one. Too bad it won't be available, right? Or...? From what we discussed, it sounds like he will mostly deal with people that pay in advance, but understand that it can take a very, very looong time to get their figures--and are willing to wait without (too much) complaint. And not, say, contact Mike Fredericks at PT magazine to somehow move things faster. For example. You know who you are. I don't. Really? Wow, what does PT have to do with ordering? Some people Well, thats encouraging to know that he would "consider" dealing with people who pre-pay and has patience There is hope...

And yes, someone thought that, somehow, Mike could influence things.

Honestly I think it's understandable...someone wasn't getting what they think is proper service and maybe they couldn't reach Malcolm and wanted to know what was up or something. I suppose having no knowledge of this site they asked Mike if he knew or could do anything. I mean really..8-12 months is a long time to wait for something..especially without being told it may take that long in the first place...annoyance and anger are to be expected from most customers in that situation. Did Mike pull his ad or did Malcolm ? I have a hard time believing one customer complaint would cause either Mike or Malcolm to shut down the advertising and business. It sounds like Malcolm just decided he can't deal with the work load and decided to close up shop and issue refunds..which is a good move on his part..better to realize your limits and stop than to keep taking money and back up like a lot of other artists I know. That said, I am sorry to see his pieces go. I believe he should just sell his services to a manufacturer so he only has to sculpt one of them at a time...at the rate he gets them done we would have a full collection in no time !

Someone went to Mike expecting him to actually...make the figures come faster? Don't really know. But it was Malcolm that pulled his ad, alongside stopping production officially. Why advertise if he's not selling?

I don't know exactly what they were thinking..people get desperate when their money is gone and they have nothing to show for it...I've seen the same problem on eBay thousands of times..buyers need to be contacted often or they get paranoid..and I can understand that as a buyer myself.
It makes sense for his ad to not be in PT if is giving up selling..why show his work if he's not selling ? Maybe just for us to enjoy it which is fine by me..maybe he's considering selling only to forum members. Has anyone received a refund from him on here ? I'm still expecting my Tylo and Dilo until I hear or receive otherwise.
