Thought I would start a thread to post in as I do things. I am mainly working digitally these days. The image I am posting is done with a Triceratops model created by someone else, I'm afraid I don't know the original artist's name - it was purchased through Daz3d and was by one of their staff artists. That's a long way of saying that any anatomical errors aren't mine I posed them in Daz and resized some in Vue. The final image was rendered in Vue 6 with plant materials by various plant artists, if you want to know about a specific one send me a mail. I know flowering plants are around at the same time as Triceratops but suspect the ones actually shown would not have been, but hey it's art. I may use a more realistic dino for that if I can find one laying around anywhere. I suspect the competition will be fierce, which is great. the more dino art the better

This little version looks terribly dark on my screen. The original is much more subtle in the light, I recommend a look at the Flickr page

A couple of new ones. This first is just playing with toon style shaders. It's rendered entirely in Vue including the lettering, no postwork. farm4.static.flickr.com/3567/3545206464_8f9fd66c28.jpgThis one is a fun one, a Spinosaurus spotting a small shark as a possible lunch. Again the dino and the shark are both models by Dinoraul. The curved look was achieved by using a 17mm camera setting, causing the distortion. Check the link for larger sizes, the original is 1600 pixels wide so much more detail to be seen. farm3.static.flickr.com/2318/3544398595_8cf063f992.jpg
