Now that I´ve moved into my new house, I thought it was time to give my figures a new home, too. Unfourtunately this cabinet is already too full, the first dinosaurs are homeless again, standing on the roof ;D

Hey, Libraraptor! That's a very nice display case. Good job!
BTW, I'd also like to see some close-ups, if you wouldn't mind. ;D

Nice display case Libraraptor. Slightly retro looking, It'll go nicely with the Invicta's (Ah, Invicta's ;D). Did you make it yourself?
I'm thinking that I'll make something soon as I can't find anything slim and glass fronted that isn't floor standing (I want it to be fixed to the wall, a bit like a deep glass fronted picture frame).

Soon there will be some close ups In the first entry I wanted to know what you think of the display as such. Ah, well, yes, this hadrosaur is a Corythosaurus I got on a flea market for 25 Euro (correct and very well remembered, Cordylus!) I didn´t do this vitrine myself, I bought it - well - on a flea market. For 60 Euros, Cordylus, just for the case I´ll be asked about it later ;D ;D

Nice collection Libraraptor. You have some really unusual figures there. I see the old style Schleich Allo, one of my favourites of the range. Suppose I'd better post some collection pics soon! John

What is the little guy between the Krentz grypo and the dimetrodon ? He's the Psittacosaurus from the safari feathered dino toob. And the spiny one behind the papo's pachycephalosaurus ? I know there's a thread about him, I can't remember the exact species, but its an obscure figure from an obscure company if I recall correctly.

Hey, thanks for those close-ups, Libraraptor! There are some really cool obscure ones I don't think I've seen before. And, you look like you have a great sauropod collection as well!
As far as running out of room and finding new places to display them, I know exactly what you mean! I have my collection on one wall of my music room. Just last weekend, I moved some of my old record collection out to start a new shelf for my marine animals. They never really had a place of their own! I also moved some bins of sheet music off another shelf and hid them under my piano. If this continues at this rate, the music room, where I also teach private lessons, will be more like a museum! Oh well. Cool! ;D

Nice display case. Gives me a couple of ideas for my next one as I am trying to convince my brother to build me one instead of him having to come to my tool related funeral. I have been toying with the idea on having a suspended plexiglass "ceiling" with the pterosaurs lying on their backs so when I look up I can see them. Not all pterosaurs would go into the case - based upon is it inflight or not. The main issue of course would be that the perspective is incorrect. Any other creative ideas? (then again I've probably de-railed this thread, if so then ignore).
