The latest category in my collection, mini metal figures! I started to add them after acquiring some SRG figures. The meta figures replaced the ceramic category, like my Castagna collection, which I traded a while back. Now, the little meta figures I find more interesting. I am totally hook on this small DZ prehistoric mammals ;D They are very well sculpted, and actually have good details considering how small and rough some of them look They are not flat Just look like it in the photos ;D they are very 3D ;D To be honest, I have not done much research on the DZ line, so I really don't know much about them. Maybe some of you can tell me ;D They join my SRG and small Ral Partha collection ;D Here they are, my mini DZ metal prehistoric mammals collection ;D The entire group: Dire wolf chasing Platybelon The lovely Brontotherium I wish there was a big figure of this guy Ah, Elasmotherium Woolly mammoth... Smilodon... Charging Elasmotherium... Elasmotherium vs. Smilodon Cheers! ;D

He got them on Ebay--either from Augustus (Hidden-in-the-Woods) or Rob (thelordsgym) on ebay! If you like metal figures, you have a way to go--where are your La Brea and Smithsonian Bronzes? In the real world, however--Ral Partha has a great series of prehistoric carnivorans; Dazed miniatures has some good ones, HLB made some mammals I think. There are actually quite a few.

I have all of the Ral Parthas, true, but only a couple DeeZee and Dazeds. And I was kidding about the bronzes.
The RP mammals can often be found for not too bad of price.
