How much was the retail price of shoni? I can't recall I want to say $20-$25, probably the latter; same for the Krono and Deinosuchus. At least in Canada. Some old listings on the net say it was about $17-$20 USD

I payed 17EURO if I recall correctly - I got it in the National Museum of Ireland. 17EURO converts to 27USD so it pretty much fits in with Sbell's estimate.

I instituted it before I really got into dinos, but collected a lot of mammals, and just kept putting off buying the large Habitat Earth prehistoric mammals. Then one day, they were just gone from everywhere. I have since got three of the four (and to be honest, I am not in great need of the fourth, the Palorchestes). So now I just get things when I see them.

Great collection of marine reptiles! Where did you get your Chap mei Liopleurodon? How long ago was he released? I think he is really cool, sadly I can't seem to find him anywhere, internet or stores. For all of you who are looking still trying to acquire the Schleich Shonisaurus and kronosaurus try www.handhwc.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=4835-SCHDINO in the USA, they still have them in stock. Better buy them while you can! Before long both will be very hard to find and will cost you a big fortune! Buy any figures you like right away, don't wait. I started buying 2 of each of the figures I really like. I was lucky to get the AAA prehistoric mammals before they went extinct.

The Chap Mei Liopleurodon was sold in the Early Learning Centre around 2 years ago, and I found it in Tesco last year, but they ran out really quickly. He is difficult to get hold of these days.
