As we all know, Safari Ltd. works hard to ensure its figures are top of the line and constantly updated. As such, older figures are regularly retired from production from time to time. This means they will never again be manufactured, and in some cases, this causes their value to increase. For the convenience of the forum, I have compiled a list of all their dinosaur-related merchandise that has ceased production. It is currently in extremely limited supply (some may even be gone by the time you read this). If anything here interests you, please post it in this thread. If the item is in high enough demand, I will place an order for it. You may nominate as many items from this list as you like. After a few days, I will compile the most popular nominations, and final voting will determine which retired products become available for you to purchase at discount prices. Is that ice cream in the mugs - how odd. ;D

I think it's whipped cream with cocoa powder or chocolate shavings, like you might put on a mug of hot chocolate. Who eats ice cream from a mug? LoL.

The Lepto and Anatotitan are really good. I don't need more personally though.
I'm glad Carnegie is getting its Acro retired, it's a seriously unimpressive figure.

I'll do my best to keep the forum appraised of which figures are scheduled for retirement once Safari announces it.
The Leptoceratops and Anatotitan are technically from the "Field Museum" line. As always, please list only nominations you are interested in purchasing; it does me little good if I have a supply of figures that are "nice, but I already have them" types.

Yup, don't have those yet.

Glad to hear it. Any of the non-figure products of interest? I rather like the mug, and the Sue Magnetic Sculpture. I'll be able to sell them super-cheap.

The Leptoceratops is a Wild Safari dino. Or did you mean the Torosaurus, that was actually part of the Sue line?

If the Apato actually looks like that and isn't that stripy one with the tail dragging on the ground, I say go for that one.

The Torosaurus is really great, I bet a lot of people would jump at the chance to get some. I own one, but would like more.

Sorry, Lepto is WS, that's right. Anatotian is Sue. If I find a way to get the Sue Torosaurus, I'll let you know. For now it's just those on the list that are up for grabs.

I rather like the Carnegie Acrocanthosaurus. I'm shocked at myself for choosing the Velociraptor over it last time I visited the Dinosaur Farm. Sadly, I can't buy much for now.

^ It's inaccurate as sin, and has a hideous look, but I like it by other means. Not that I think it is a great sculpture, but for some odd reason, I find it oddly charming.

Any word if they are going to be replacing any of these with anything else ? I'm surprised at the Great Dinos Petro removal and the Acro...maybe it's to make room for a better one.. ;D

The Spinosaurus is supposed to have a pretty good replacement, I hear.
As for the others, I haven't heard much yet. Given that the Acrocanthosaurus is an all-important therapod, I wouldn't be surprised to see a new sculpt in the future.
