Released in 1993, the Bullyland Red Rex as it is known to distinguish itself from its gray counterpart, seemingly fell off the face of the earth. I can reminisce desperately wanting this the toy that was displayed on Randy Knoll's site. The quality of the images did the figure little to no justice, when in reality, this Tyrannosaurus is quite nice. This Red fella is 1/40 scale. It measure just shorter in terms of length than the Gray Bullyland Tyrannosaurus, and has shorter, stockier legs when viewed in person. It was won for 15 dollars on ebay. Only one other person bid. Anyway, enjoy! (I am using my new camera and camera stand) A bad quality image, but you can see my new acquisitions! One of the many Secret Rexes and...well...bokisaurus, can you fill me in as to what company made this ol' Postosuchus lunch meat? Both were won on ebay not long ago. Hope you liked it!

Hey, nice banana plants Mine are just recovering from our -8 winter! Bah. We had -20 (C) winter. And the Placerias is an odd little Chinasaur that has shown up infrequently--it is very much to scale with the WwD Postosuchus, and is a great figure.

Very cool and congrats, Tyrannax! They even made him back then with a pretty good posture. I'll have to admit, I really didn't know of this guy. I also like that little grey Rex too. Tough looking little figure!
BTW, Is that the house in California or Texas? Looks more like California. It's funny, by the angle of your first pic, I thought that water slide went into your jacuzzi, LOL!
Looks like your new camera is a pretty good one. Nice pics for using something new!

Honestly I am not impressed at all by the figure. I mean, if somebody else made it now it would just be called a chinasaur. The new one is way better.

Does anyone else not like it? Ah well, your perspective on an item is just as good as anyone else's, eh? Actually its my backyard in Texas. We planted banana trees. They made it through the winter, but really did not have trouble with 40 degrees Fahrenheit. ;D A pool party? Sure, why not? ;D The Jacuzzi will heat up to 112. Its relaxing at night when the stars are out and the pool light is shining. (Our pool light can change the pool to any color)

That's too bad. I really like this figure. He is not as nice as others, but when you actually hold it... you become attached. It is now my favorite, along with the Battat. (Not adequate enough quality to be used in dioramas of course, haha)

(Not adequate enough quality to be used in dioramas of course, haha) It's the first time I've seen this original TRex. I like it and will be looking out for one. And for the detractors (usually stateside ;D), consider that this version of TRex was around about the same time as Safari's Carnegie blobby green Godzilla Rex ........................... how do ya like them bananas ? Oh, and it stands quite nicely on it's own two feet ................... (Evil grin ) Hmn, remind me again, does the current Carnegie manage to stand on two feet ? Oh dear, How long exactly did it take Batat to master the basics? ;D

Who cares if it can stand on its own two feet? And the original carnegie, I think, looks better than this guy (minus the colors, but the sculpt is a win )

Libraraptor - Don't worry, it is actually a tough pick myself. lol. ;D Blackdanter - That is true! This Tyrannosaurus stands better on his feet than any other Rex I have. Cordylus - Honestly, I like both of these Rex sculptures. No, we could all tell from Randy's diorama that this Tyrannosaurus wasn't Battat quality in terms of accuracy. However, this figure is extremely detailed, charming, is equipped with an excellent paint scheme, and can stand on its feet with no support at all.

Must be nearly there unless your postmen have trouble standing on two legs ;D

The more I look at this the more I want this Rex figure The Placerias is readily available over here, usually in Chinasaur sets but you can sometimes find it sold individually (though I haven't bought one yet!).

Does anyone own this figure as well? If so, I'd love to see pics of its shape.
