What do y'all think of a 1/40 Hyneria? I'm partial to this fish as it is my favorite. The site of a 15 foot Orca-fish hauling itself out of the water is incredible indeed! I may set my Tyrannosaurus aside until I finish the Hyneria/figure out a way to repair it. What are all of your thoughts on this idea in general? Comments/Pictures/Poses are very much appreciated.

It is one and the same. Hm? Oh, I know. I also own the documentary featuring Hyneria (Before the Dinosaurs (?)). The "Guide to Prehistoric Life" is of course endorsed by this, and WwD. That is why I have seen it. I bought this book years ago, so seeing that picture is nothing new to me unfortunately. You'd be surprised how little pictures and information their are based on this species. There are literally only 2 pictures of this animal I can find.

Based on its closets relative, I have completed Part 1. of the armature: It measures roughly 4.5 inches in diameter, putting it around 15 feet. Larger than the original estimate, but I wanted a big guy.

Armature is finished, and 90% of all the clay has been added to the sculpture. I'm unsure how round to make her since I have little pictures and no figurines. I wish I had the kaiyodo version of its relative right about now.

I think I remember you saying "Fish can go die in a ditch compared to Tyrannosaurus". So why are you making this fish instead of a new trex?

My attitude is much less unhappy now. ;D I love fish. That is why I have 3 55 gallon aquariums filled with eels and such. Hyneria is probably my favorite, so why not sculpt one?

Hey you can worry about the Hyneria later, right now get the T-Rex done. After all that is the one you started first and made such a big deal about! ;D

Not sure if pictures are wanted here. The clay is all in place. Details are to be added now, that is after I smooth out and make adjustments first.

Okay, I've decided to bake this guy and add another layer for the scales and other details. I'll admit, I'm a bit nervous about this.
The animal, since it is going to have a second layer, is going to be a bit larger than 4.5 meters. No worries, he will never surpass 5.

I thought you knew. ;D I forgot to tell you I do not need it anymore. I paused the Before the Dinosaurs: Hyneria scene on several parts. It had many angles available.
