Do you mind if they are re-casts ? There is a seller on eBay who has both of those for around 25.00...I bought one of each myself and they are fine. Search Jurassic Park model or dinosaur model..the guy is from Hong Kong I think..can't miss him...hope that helps.

Does the quality and size of these recast are the same as the originals? By the way, I'm still looking for the originals, so, if anyone has them please let me know. Thanks!

I would say about 97%.... they are a little slimmer and the details just barely softer.
Heh..if a sculptor has stopped producing a kit, I don't see why re-casting can't work, they aren't making it anymore so they aren't losing money on a product they aren't producing...lol
I wish that guy would get ahold of a Raptor kit..I'd order 2 or 3 more and make a pack of em'.. ;D

BTW I'd agree with your line of reasoning, except that by supporting a recaster by buying something like an old Horizon copy (Horizon having folded 11 years ago), you are enabling him to continue his business in stealing current garage kits, including those of people like Shane Foulkes (I personally helped shut down a pirate operation in Thailand that had copied and was selling Shane's Spinosaurus and a few other pieces for a fraction of what it actually costs Shane to offer them and make a profit). So if you don't minding helping to push folks like Shane out of the business (so many kit makers have quit after finding their works being pirated in the Far East and cheap crappy copies being recast and sold), you go ahead. I won't scream at you or call you names - I believe people have a right to mind their own business, but at least think about it before you plop $$ down to a recaster.....

If there was any other way to get a piece then I would certainly go that route instead of re-casting. I've read of the evils and such of recasters...been through several discussions on it actually so I know what you mean.
