I signed up for the forum a couple of months ago, and have really enjoyed the forum so decided to finally say hello.
I generally collect "anything" ichthyosaur, and have been doing so for a number of years. Being from Nevada I have a special interest in Shonisaurus. My username, ichthy0saur with a large O, is based on the entrance sign to Berlin-Ichthyosaur State Park which for some reason has the lower case 'o' larger than the other lower case letters. I have also begun to expand my interests lately into all the marine reptiles, especially Sauropterygia.
I hope to get everything together and post some of the ichthyosaur items in the forum in the near future.

Howdy icthy! This post, and the last post I responded to, thinking of tedco little dino skeleton kits made me think - I was visiting a local toy store and found a little plastic skeleton of an icthyosaur - Its pretty neat - not a critter you often see in this style of toy (usually you have T rex, triceratops, and that lot, but I do have some more unusual ones like an Edaphosaurus and Dsungaripterus) and it was pretty cheap too - it is the same sort of style as the Tedco kits, but it was put out by the national geographic society, I did a quick google search and found it here. I think mine cost me 4 something. www.bonanzle.com/booths/MegaGift/items/National_Geographic_Ichthyosaur_Dinosaur_Skeleton_Kit_THK630(this might be old news to you, but it was new to me)

Welcome here, the swimming pool is big enough and the water is warmed up. I hope we will see your marine pets soon.

If you like Ichthyosaurs, you might be in luck - Safari is rumored to be releasing an Ichthyosaur figure in 2010.
Welcome to the forum!

Welcome! Marine reptiles? Well , ROM Stenopterygius still makes me drool, but it's quite rare. Yesterday I bought the old Bullyland Elasmosaurus with its incredibly long neck! Hope you'll enjoy the forum!
