Hi there. I'm a 17 year old dinosaur fan from, as you may have guessed, Australia. I've been into dinosaurs (and most other things prehistoric) since an early age (I can't exactly remember any specific date), so much so that I'm aiming to study paleontology-related subjects at university. I might as well put my obsession to good use! Over the years, I've also amassed a fair amount of dinosaur toys, as well. They're mainly very nice models, although I have a few others that aren't as static, namely Yowie models and dinosaur Transformers. I draw a lot as well, much of which I stick up on my deviantart account. Lately I've been developing a sort of fantasy world in which dinosaurs never went extinct and developed into a variety of forms, mainly based on dinosaurs from the southern continents since they're often unusual. Designs of those are also up there, and I'd appreciate help in making them more realistic as far as dinosaurs went. So, um, yeah.

Welcome! So you paint fantasy dinosaurs just as Dougal Dixon did?

Welcome! So you paint fantasy dinosaurs just as Dougal Dixon did? Well, I draw them. I've seen Dixon's fantasy dinosaurs, and they're not really what I'm trying to aim for. They're more like dinosaurs we haven't found yet, in that they're not descendants of particular groups. Initially it was very fantastical and there were things like fire breathing theropods. Although awesome, I went off that for some reason (although I've retained pterosaurs that shoot lightning from their wings because of a story I'm making set in this world involving supernatural elements).

Australia eh? I'd love to visit that country, and always have chiefly due to Steve Irwin. Glad to have you around! I love your drawings.
