I'm curious.. Does anyone do really good dino skull replicas that look like natural/fresh bone?

You mean like the actual fossils? Because those wouldn't be very fresh. Or pretty.
Were you looking for a specific type of replica? I might be able to find something.

Do I have to pick just one?
I have always liked the Velociraptor best, I like the detail and the look. Besides that, it's 1:1. Brachiosaurus and Styracosaurus are close seconds.

What I mean dan.. Is that those replicas are all brown or black and for the most part seem to be replicas of....actual fossils. They look ancient and are supposed to . But if you have a fresh skeleton that has been properly cleaned, it is fresh, smooth, and white. I would love to see some good-quality replicas that look like that.

Ah. Well, I'm not sure I've seen many bone-white replicas, at least not of dinosaurs. Probably because this is the way they're found (although without any of the damage and missing chunks you'd see in a real fossilized skull). For the time being, these are probably the best desktop-sized skull models on the market. Kinto's "divorcee" website sells a similar product, but their skulls are virtually identical.

Could always repaint them to look like new skulls, as long as they look intact it should look pretty ok.

There's always the old ITC Skeleton model kits (Glencoe reissued them not long ago) that are moulded in off-white plastic. They are about 1/20 or 1/25 scale from memory.

I voted the Rex skull, but the Raptor and the Pteranodon ones are equally cool IMHO

Sorry but Brachiosaurus and Styracosaurus aren't one of the choices! As Dan talked about the full range in his first post, I mentioned two others that I liked as well. I thought my post made it quite clear that the Velociraptor skull is my favorite and that I choose that one, so.....

I think Stone was making a bad attempt at humor, there. Also, I just noticed they're releasing a Gallimimus skull model, which is life-size, just like the Velociraptor. Not bad.
