Noone else has posted on these, so here are the Character Options produced Primeval monsters, based on real stuff, I've managed to collect- From left to right, we have Hesperornis, Three Anuragnathus (called Agnuragnathus on the box!) a Coelurosauravus, a Dodo and another HesperornisOh, and the figure isn't from Primeval, it;s from the Character Options Doctor Who range, which is to the same scale, but better quality They also do a giant Solifuge, but no Gorgonopsid, no Scutosaurus, no Arthropleura and no Mosasaur!

Where did you find these, and where can I get more information about them? Is this something you can buy? Also can you give me an Idea of there size?

I was given most of these, the Doctor Who figure is 5" tall, so they're about 1:13th scale.
You can get them in most shops in the UK, they come packaged with different human figures from the TV series. The Hesperornis might be tricky to get hold of, it;s either in the Electronic Anomaly playset or the Creature Incursion set from Woolworths.
Ebay is probably your best bet outside the UK...

Why did they have to give the Hesperornis feathers? There's no proof it had them. I don't like the idea of feathered non-avian (Aves sensu Gauthier) dinosaurs. Won't somebody make a scaly Hesperornis? I'm looking at you Safari!

They are actually quite nice. The Hesperornis are especially fun. They should have done the mosasaur though What an opportunity!

No scales, because Hesperornis is a member of the Subclass Odontornithes, Class Aves (sensu OED and generally accepted definition of 'bird') ;D

Greg Paul defined Deinonychus as part of Class Aves in 1988, and Bob Bakker defined Birds as part of Class Dinosauria before that

I LOVE those Hesperornis figures !!!
(I guess I will just have to keep an eye out for them on ebay)
A real bummer that they decided not to do a Gorgonopsid (I saw some of the show on you tube, and thought the gorgo looked quite good) and even those the mosasaur looked a little "crock-y" for my taste, I would still have loved to see it be a figure.

Other than the Hesperornis, that line has been brutally disappointing

BBC America will be airing the show on their network, so hopefully the toys will make it to this side of the pond as well!

It looks funny. But it looks funny in the show as well I think they've got the wrists wrong too. Still, if it was accurate, it wouldn't be the dromaeosar from Primeval, would it! If I see it, I might get it and post a picture. It doesn;t seem to have landed yet, but apparently Character Options are expecting a shipment of stuff to land this week, so maybe soon...

I really like "Primeval" and i'd like to get these action figures as soon as possible (along with the ones from the first series) Oh,and you want to hear a funny story? A (stupid) friend o' mine went to London last week, and, before he left,i reccomended him to buy me some dinosaur "stuff" once there in England (Schleich Shonisaurus,Primeval AC,Safari models and so on)...He arrived today and he brought me NOTHING!! And you want to know why? Not because he hadn't find anything there...But because he was EMBARASSED to enter in a toy store of any sort!! He's a good friend and all...But,good lord, sometimes he's such a fool...
