Ireally like this apato. It has a nice straight line leading into the tail. It is probably a little short in the neck and tail, but what else is new with sauropod toys? Interestingly, the toes on the front feet are molded with a sort of jointed look and texture. They have toenails sculpted in but the toes do point more or less down, so if you don't paint them, just the thumb claw, it looks almost right-ish....

Yeah, I guess it was probably it's original paint job that was turning me away from getting this one for so long. With this new paint job, I can see all of it's cool skin details.
Why do so many of these companies slather on such thick paint coats? There are times when I like some of their paint ideas. It's just that when they make them so thick, it covers up so much of the sculpt's details. But, I guess that's what you've been saying all along. Right, Kevin?!! ;D
