Hello everyone. I've been a part of JPtoys for a long time and finally decided to broaden out to here as well. I dont really consider myself a hard core collector but I do own a lot of dinosaur models. I simply just buy the ones that truly appeal to me. Most of what I own consists of JP and the Carnegie/Safari lines.
A little about myself. I live in NJ and am a student at Rutgers University in New Brunswick. I have have a job as a wildlife educator for 7 years now at a place in NY state. Basically what I do is bring animals to camps and schools and give educational programs. I have been obsessed with dinosaurs all my life and express my infatuation with them the most through my art (some of which is already posted in the art section)

Welcome! Interesting background information, too. You take Glyptotheriums to schools? I always wanted to know if these animals smell?

Haha they do smell to a certain extent but porcupines smell much worse (its like BO and its really powerful). The armadillo in the photo was born in captivity with at our place. One of 4 quadruplets. We are very proud of him since breeding Armadillos of any kind is something even AZA zoos have a lot of trouble pulling off. With us it happened by accident!

If you know your history with regards to the discovery of the first dino fossils, griffins can be considered a sort of dinosaur...
