Seems like every new member here creates a thread to introduce themselves (clearly you don't have too many members... ). So, hello! I'm 21 years old, from the UK and am interested in dinosaurs far too much to admit to anyone who doesn't ask too many questions. I also have a burgeoning collection of dinosaur figures, mostly Papo for the moment. I've been lurking around these forums recently and thought they were the perfect place for a bit of nerdy indulgence; also, certain members seem like they could be highly knowledgable info-mines. A sad tale: back when I were young in the early-mid 1990s I accrued an impressive array of plastic dinosaurs, only to get rid of them all in my early teenage years (young teenagers are prone to stupid mistakes). These included a HUGE number of plain Invictas including Troodon, Lambeosaurus, Diplodocus etc etc as well as original Carnegies including Protoceratops and Deinonychus. AND...AND!...every Jurassic Park series 1 figure. Sob. Still, nothing like the challenge of starting again, eh? I already have both the JP Dilophosauruses anyways. So, hello!

Don't worry, most of those can be replaced, though some of them are considerably pricier these days. Of those you listed, I think the Invicta Troodon is one of the most difficult to locate, but I believe one sold on eBay recently. That's usually a good place to start.

Hello there, I hope your collection grows to be twice as big as your old collection ;D

Cheers guys. Not sure if I can be bothered to get hold of too many of the old guys...maybe just the JP and Invicta, if I see them. I plan on getting hold of some Carnegie models, although being a student I am of limited financial means. Still...if you translate the figures' prices into pints of beer, it would just mean a few less nights in which I get a bit...tipsy....

What a nice avatar you have Well, it's very...pink. Which I'm not a fan of. But it's a classic Invicta! And it's a Triceratops, which is fitting. EDIT: Well, I changed it anyway to something a little more unusual. A dinosaur wearing a morning suit. And why not?
