Hi everyone. Am a new member. Been collecting all my life and have half my garage filled with a giant diorama. Currently have over 160 different species of prehistoric creatures, and close to 300 animals total, almost all in the 1-40 or close scale. Have an additional bunch that either didn't make the cut or have been upgraded.(example-Bullyland deinotherium-too large). My wife does all the landscaping. I'm technologically challenged but I hope to figure out how to post some pictures soon. In the meantime it's great to enjoy some conversation with people of similar obsessions.

I'm sure folks will be drooling over your Deinotherium - don't let 'em sweet-talk you out of it Welcome!

Thanks. I'm sure I have quite a few that people would be drooling over. Some i would part with and some I wouldn't. My battat Diplodocus is untouchable, as is my Acro. I could be talked out of my Deinotherium or my invicta Trodon or Mutta tho. Right now I'm interested in aquiring a papo Allosaurus. It looks to be a definite upgrade from any of the al's i have now.

I may be able to get you the Papo Al. What would you consider a fair trade for it?

I'm sure i can get it also, but what would you be interested in? Give me a list of your wants and I'll see what I have. I'm also interested in a Nat. Geo. Compy by the way. I think they are called micro s. Not sure. But I would like a couple of them. I have most of the Carnegies, invicta, battat, marx, procon (collectA),and a host of others.

Hello hello hello. I can't wait to be driven into a jealous rage by the mere glimpse of photographs from your garage.

I wouldn't suggest letting yourself be 'talked' out of that Deinotherium--in good shape, it is easily worth $150-$200; in other words, the $20 Papo allosaur is not enough in the deal. The whole Papo line is not enough in some ways (since they are still widely available). Unless of course you simply want a home for your figure and want it to go to another collector regardless of exchange value, in which case there are indeed many people looking for one. But I think it is fair to assume that you should know the 'value' before any final deals are struck (shades of Simpsons-- [in Comic Book Guy voice] "...alternate ending of Empire Strikes Back! Luke's father is...Chewbacca! I will give you ten dollars for it...").

Please calm down everyone. I have no wish to start an altercation. Papo. I appreciate your concern however I am well aware of the current value of much of my collection. I have no intention of giving things away, nor do I intend to ask for anyones first born. Peace all.

I need most of those companies. Any at all from the last four would be good. Send me a PM with the doubles you have from those companies. If any battats are in there, I will post a doubles list to you so we can add an extra figure or two. ;D Thanks BTW, the compys are from the Micro Machines set. I don't have any. Sad about that they look cool. I think someone here has them.
