Ok so I know that a lot of people on here can't stand him, I really wanted to share this because I'm really excited about it. For those of you who didn't know George Blasing or Dinosaur George answered a question of mine on his website a few weeks back. It had to do with me drawing toenails on sauropods. Since then he actually has been keeping in touch with me via email and facebook and he now wants to do a little interview with me on his blog about my drawings. Below is the message he sent today in an email regarding this. If anyone is interested, you can pm me and I would be happy to forward you the article when it comes out. Also if mods feel this is the wrong place for this feel free to move it. It has to do with my drawings so thats why I put it here. Thanks.
Hi Chris, Attached is the interview questions. Please feel free to expand on the answers as much as you like. Once I get this back from you, I'll add it to the newsletter, include the images you sent me, and then send a proof to you to review.
This newsletter is only emailed, but you can forward it to your family and friends when it comes out.
Thanks for doing this man. I REALLY like the images you sent.
George

Thank you. I'm really pumped. Dan: Yes the ones I sent for him to include can all be seen on my art thread. They are the Amargasaurus, Brachiosaurus, Cryolophosaurus, Stegosaurus and the scene with the Anatotitans and Triceratops herds at the watering hole. He has seen all of them however.

Hey, well done. I don't really know much about ol' George but he seems like an amusing jocular fellow. I'd definitely be interested in reading the interview.

You can pm me with your email adress and I'll send you the article when it comes out. Speakin' frankly, i really like the approach "Dinosaur" George takes when he's talkin' about dinosaurs... He seems a really nice guy, plus when i asked him about Deinocheirus some time ago he answered nicely and without arrogance; i'll PM for the article

Yeah I like that about him too. He respects everyone and doesn't seem too full of himself either. He's not afraid to admit that he doesn't know certain things as well if you watch some of his video responses.

I used to frequent his San Antonio "Dino World" store 10 years ago - lots of the usual models, books, knick -knacks - plus a full-size replica of Stan's skull, a real fossil Mosasaur skull (for only $30K), etc.
He also served as curator for a San Antonio Zillionaire who had a museum-sized collection of privately excavated dinosaur fossils. I recall a story in the local paper about a 40+ foot Edmontosaurus they were digging out in Canada.
The store closed a few years ago, and then - voila - he shows up on that History Channel dinosaur show from last year.
He IS a very nice guy, and would talk at length about dinosaurs with anyone at his store. He visited my kids' school as well, bringing with him a life-sized Therizinosaur claw replica (among other goodies. My son remembers it to this day....

Congrats! That's good exposure for your work. And for the record- I think Dinosaur George does a great job the Jurassic Fight club show. Seems like a cool guy.
