What a cool collection! I love your set up. I really like the hanging stands you have for your pterosaurs. How did you make those?

Hello everybody ;D Thankyou for all the compliments . What a cool collection! I love your set up. I really like the hanging stands you have for your pterosaurs. How did you make those? Thanx, well i first wanted them to hammer them on the top of the large space where the lost world t-rex baby was. But i didnt have enough of them so i decided to look for something else. And i searched and searched untill i finally found something. The favorite collection pteranodon and the plesiousaur stand. I also have one plesiosaur from the favoroute collection, but the ones with the pterosaurs i orderd without a pteranodon or plesiosaur you can order them only. And with a lot and lot of patience (alright alright, and some help from my soon-to-be-wife, who has more patience with that sort of things, who also loves dinosaurs, lucky me ;D). And then we wired them in different positions. Like the Tapejara free fall. IKEA gives home to a cool, clear collection. Thanx :DYes finally found something they are good at. Housing my dinosaurs. hahaha Only problem with it was the installation of it, its feet are not of the same lenght. So i have put little plates underneath it or else my Carnegie caudipteryx would fall constantly. And yes three invicta's the scelidosaurus, the barnyonix and the glyptodon. I love them!!

Oh yeah, the Invicta's are great! I just completed the solid color collection a few weeks ago and am now trying to find all of the painted ones. I love them, too! My most prized dinosaurs are in an IKEA glass display case

Now that we have moved into a new house, I have a space just waiting for my collection to get on display--I have already picked out the IKEA bookcases, but this time everything will be behind glass. But I have to wait until late October to get the shelves, since we still have to paint and prep the area first.

A glass display case is beautifull for the dinosaurs ;D. So they will be dust-free ;D. What kind of dinosaurs are in it? At first they had another housing, but it was way to dark. So i decided to get 3 ikea housings for them. And it worked the way i wanted it.

The smaller Invicta's; Dimetrodon, Glyptodon, Scelidosaurus, etc, are in the display case. I'm paranoid about losing one of the small guys to the vacuum cleaner! The Troodon is also in there, watching over them. They shared it with my fossils and my collection of Star Wars Lightsabers. I just realised I have the same cases you have your dinos in, I have five of them, filled with books. And I may have to get another one soon or maybe I should buy less books

The need for installed lights is obvious, of course. There is a lighter wood as well, but it wouldn't suit our decor. I may paint the back light, or use backdrops. Very likely I will be using clear acrylic stepped risers (like spice racks, but I just got a retailers catalogue with all sorts of display products) so that figures will stand above each other. I have not yet figured out what I will do with my smaller, Dinotales/Yujin size animals. I really don't even know what method I will use to group them (I tend to use systematics, but I may change it up).

No they weren't that expensive ;D. Ohw a troodon... . I love Troodons!! The vacuum cleaner doesn't get near my dino's either. I remove them one shelf at a time and then the vacuum cleaner comes in. and i brush the dinosaurs with a ... dustcleaner! Yes one for one ;D Good no? . Fossils? That is cool. Do you happen to own a raptor claw? The starwars lightsabers? The sideshow ones? No dont buy less books. Buy another case hahaha .

I also have a spinosaur claw and tyrannosaur tooth, also reproductions. I do have a genuine Spino tooth and some genuine tyrannosaur bone fragments. And I have 26 (of a total of 53 different ones) lightsabers, made by Master Replica. They are the scaled version, 45% of the original size. Which is an affordable option instead of buying the full-size ones, which are no longer being made and very expensive. I would like to own a full-size one but at the prices they usually go for...

That's a nice one indeed. And no i would not mind. But i think my dog and cat will. Whenever they see something in the living room they allways want to play with it No they weren't that expensive ;D. Sounds very cool. The dinosaur replica's as well as the Starwars collection. Someday i hope i own a raptorclaw. The only thing i have is a trilobite an ammonite and one fossill plant. But a nice fossil collection you have =). I know the starwars master replica's ;D ;D. I have seen them in the acme movie store a couple of times. Yes the full sized are indeed very expensive. I have a little Starwars Collection, i had more. But i did not liked the humans. So i sold them. The only ones i have left are a couple of aliens. The geonosians, and some other. But my favourite one is my sideshow toys Salacious crumb creature pack. I love that creature ;D.
