Looks great though I think it could use a bigger base.

Ya, but where to put it? This is the biggest I could get to fit on the desk. Limmited space and all that.

You'll have to burn some of the others to make some space. Or send that safari cammie to me. Yep, that's what you should do....

Wow! Very natural and realistic looking, Kevin!! That darker wash really brings out some impressive details on this guy. Aren't you glad you decided to do washes after all?! Congrats, man! Very nice job! I do have two little points to make. Is that a seam in the middle of the body? If so, could it be brought down a little more? I know it would be a massive chore to redo that. Maybe in person you can't see it as much. Could just be the lighting in some of the pics catching it just right. Second, even though I'm loving the natural colors on him, I think I would add some subtle colors on the shield. I know you usually do this on past figures. Maybe you just wanted to do an all natural one for a change. Heck, it could very well be a female with more camouflaged coloring to blend more into her environment, right?! Anyway, it's awesome. You should be very proud! ;D

Oh, that's not a seam. It's a bloody gap, and an almost quarter inch difference in the size of the two piecs. What you see is after two weeks, and at least most of a tube of putty. I swear, I almost did not nother finishing this piece, it was so disappointing....
I decided that it really did not need color on the frill. In person, the detail and skin texture is so amazing, I just decided to let it be. Now, most of the other ceratopsians have large areas in their frills that are covered only in skin. Skin filled with lots o blood vessels. I can seee those being used as display, and having bright color. The trike frill on the other hand, is solid bone. No area to correspond to the others, and in my mind, much more a defensive item than display. I thought that like deer and such, the horns were the display device, that and victory in jousting combat, so bright color may not have been there. It is a change from all of my other trikes, I know, but I really do like this.
